Let me check when I get home...the North AMerican version of the guitar tabs has several missing songs due to copyright/right's issues. I also have a Japan Band Score for GYYYO that has some songs that aren't on the North American version. These Japan Band Score books have the vocal, guitar, bass, drum and misc parts...standby for a few days.

The Japan band score books were never supposed to be sold outside of Japan. Why? In 2005 in Ottawa (Canada) during the intro to SFTD Charlie had a momentary health scare and walked away from his drum kit...the song kept going and eventually Charlie returned and the song continued. I don't think many people noticed or realized what happened....or that the percussion continued without Charlie.

ILS is an acronym for Instrument Landing System It is made up of two radio beams that continuously display on the aircraft instruments whether is is above, on, or below the ideal glidepath, and a second beam which displays on the aircraft whether is is lined up with the centreline(localizer) of the runway. If the aircraft is on both the proper glidepath and localizer, then a landing can be mad

V1 "the maximum speed in the takeoff at which the pilot must take the first action (e.g., apply brakes, reduce thrust, deploy speed brakes) to stop the airplane within the accelerate-stop distance. V1 also means the minimum speed in the takeoff, following a failure of the critical engine at VEF, at which the pilot can continue the takeoff and achieve the required height above the takeoff

I have read/heard that the bass drum was overdubbed because Charlie was playing that travelling/practice drum kit and it's bass sound needed enhancing. I thought I read that Dave Mason did the overdubbing.

I know this isn't the "It's only aircraft" bulletin board but.. Quote The initial model of the Lockheed Electra suffered from the engine mountings not being heavy enough to withstand the higher than average take offs and landings the Electra was designed for. Even a slightly bumpy landing would send the engine mounting out of true, making for catastrophic vibration at cruis

I seem to recall a bit of a break between the sets. The stage went black. Roadies then brought out a stool. Mick and Keith then walked out, and played Prodigal Son. Then the rest of the Stones joined them for the rest of the set.

I found it interesting that during the '69 Hyde Park concert, Mick Taylor, as a brand new Rolling Stone, plays the intro lick for HTW.....you can't see whether Keith is also playing it too.... Since they just recorded the final version, it made me wonder if Mick T played more than he was credited with (just a few fills) on the released single version. P Honky Tonk Women Hyde P

That time Donald Trump was fired by Canadian concert promoter Michael Cohl and the Rolling Stones Republican Party frontrunner Donald Trump has always been a self-promoting blowhard. But being an extremely rich one with loose morals has sheltered him from such mundane life benchmarks as being laid off for ineptitude. Which is why, when a story of just such a moment surfaces it’s worth highl

HTW is the first Stones song I remember...summer of '69 and my late brother borrowed it from a friend...I can still see the 45 revolving on the turntable with a greenish/blue London records label...I was eight years old. Interesting to note that on the Stones in the Park movie...when they play HTW live for the first time ever, the film shows MT playing and he is playing the intro riff (n

Who is sitting beside Keith on the couch while listening to the Wild Horses playback? Which Robert is Keith referring to when asked about the Cousin Minnie ticket in his shirt pocket? Robert Fraser?? Keith is asked "What is that?" "What?" "Sticking out of your pocket?" "Cousin Minnie says 'How delicious'" "I'm taking

I must admit I don't get the M&S bandwagon.... We in Canada have had to tolerate the Bare Naked Ladies sort of a 90s and 00s Canadian version of M&S....faux hispters writing unbelievably lame pop songs...

The hidden history of how the Rolling Stones pulled off their legendary secret El Mocambo show This summer, the Rolling Stones will play selected dates in the U.S. and Canada, but long before they were a touring colossus grinding from stadium to stadium, they were nimble enough to surprise. In 1977 in Toronto they recorded a live album at the El Mocambo. They could have bolted the doors, dra

So does anyone know the story of this video and how the early audio version of IORR was used for the video? I mean, this is a group of guys who will play a song 40 or 50 times in the studio to get the right feel and then they produce a video with the "wrong" backing track? Wouldn't MJ or KR freak out as soon as the backing track starts playing during the rehearsal and say &qu
