Thanks CB, Tons of information - I really appreciate it. I think I will definitely go with Skype for friends (here and overseas) and a little business and maybe Vonage since my GF's bro has had it for awhile (and it seems to work well for him - hard to get a straight answer from the guy. He just says stuff like "works well" or "fine" then he has to run). Yeah, the phone c

Quote24FPS You don't have to move with the times if they suck. As an 'older' fan am I supposed to listen to subpar musicians due weak versions of music made better almost 50 years ago? I recognize true talent, Jack White, Amy Winehouse, the Roots, and others, but they are few and far between. You can catch new bands every night on the last five minutes of Conan, Leno, Letterman,

Quoteineedadrink CrissCrossMind, look at your headline. That was cause I was watching the COCHELLA FESTIVAL (4/15-17) in the California Dessert (on the computer) and MUSE was the big headline act - then I put on an all music channel (on the Big Screen/Satellite) and they had COLDPLAY as the headliner at another giant festival somewhere... could have picked 2 different names but they had to be n

HERE, READ THIS. DON'T BE SO LAZY QuoteCrissCrossMind yeah but the system worked until recently. You had Elvis/Chuck Berry/Roy Orbison/Johnny Cash. Then you had the Stones/Beatles/Dylan. Then you had Zeppelin/Elton John/Bowie/Springsteen. Then you had U2/Madonna/Prince/Michael Jackson/Mellencamp. Then you had Nirvana/Pearl Jam/Nine Inch Nails/Sheryl Crow and now it doesn't seem like

Quotejamesfdouglas Why does any band today have to carrry a stamp of approval (aka "the torch passed") by armchair-music fans too old and grumpy to invest any true time in dicovering what they're really about on their own? Who are the Beatles and Stones of today? Is this what's it come to for boomers? Having such a myopic detachment from anything realeased in the last

It's a thin line between love and hate and I just don't feel the hate so it must be love..... That's cool, you can be one of my disciples... My teachings will set ya free...

You can book a sailboat with a captain and cook for a week or 2. If it's a 54 or 60 footer that would usually take about 6 people (so you, your wife, and 4 friends - split the costs) it's not cheap but if you shop around it's not that expensive. If you want to do it really cheap than Turkey (in Europe) is the place to go. I used to go to the Caribbean all the time until I noticed i
