I've seen multiple shows on every tour since 1975 and I have NEVER seen Ronnie play like he did a couple weeks back in Pittsburgh. I hope he's still on fire this Wednesday in Detroit. His playing is really ferocious and he doesn't seem to get lost or peter out all together like he has especially in the last fifteen years.

"Why does Mick sometimes appear ignorant of the band's recording chronology on stage?" It's a schtick. An old schtick that got tired long ago.

Highlights of Pittsburgh '15, my 33rd Stones show since Cleveland '75 (forty years and six days earlier): Drove six hours on Friday with my 19 and 18 year old sons. In Pittsburgh we met up with a high school chum who the elder son is named for. Went to Il Pizzaolo in Market Square for a fantastic Italian dinner on Friday evening. Who do I see on the patio nibbling antipasto but Be

Quotelatebloomer For all you natives, I'm staying at the Doubletree Hilton Suites Downtown and I'm going to have three teenage boys with me. What do you suggest I do with them? Other than feed them... LOL. I'm staying at the Days Inn with my teenage sons. Maybe we should get them together so they can all bitch about how old the Stones are. Seriously, my kids have seen them twic

"Some Girls" from Atlanta '15 was a rare Mick train wreck. The teleprompter must have been on the fritz and he couldn't find the key to save his life until Lisa and Bernard came in.

They're never coming back. Not like this and not to flyover country markets. We may see special occasion shows in NYC or LA but I'm guessing that's it. We like to think of the Stones as invincible but time is no longer on their side.

I remember turning to my girl friend and saying I wasn't a huge Stones fan because they were so old. Then the walk-on music played and the group strolled out sans Jagger (no lotus stage in the stadium) and Keith started slamming o

It was ten bucks cheaper than Hot Rocks with more songs and a wider array of time periods. Perhaps someone in the ABKCO didn't want the continued competition. Be that as it may, GRRR! pretty much replaced 40 Licks.

Quotedougingb Quotestanlove QuoteRockinJive I hope to meet this guy so I can give him a bar of soap. He's a piece of dirt. I got to the Stadium late but got a chance to flip him off a bunch of times. I have always noticed that in the entertainment business right wingers are a lot more tolerant of left wingers then left winger are of right wingers. When an entertainer is a right winger the

Kid Rock came along at a time when Michigan needed all the pride and confidence it could get. His act is 100% fun and just because he happens to wave the American flag rather than fashionably spit on it does not make him scum. There are dozens of private and public charities and social causes around Motown that he has generously endowed and not always publicly. Four times he has sold out the same

QuoteMore Hot Rocks What a piece of white trash he is. Scum to to music and the USA Actually, Bob Ritchie came from a pretty well-to-do family. His father owned a chain of FORD dealerships throughout the Detroit area. "Kid Rock" was a character Bob invented after years of careful research and study of not only music but the music business as well. He made himself by himself and is the

For folks who pat themselves on the back for their enlightenment and progressive tolerance lefties can sure be an intolerant bunch. ''Agree or shut up'' as it were. KID ROCK is huge especially in the Midwestern United States. He was likely added to help put asses in seats given that the OSU horseshoe is so massive. Apparently he did just that. No other date on the tour has an

Age 58, tomorrow. First show, June 14, 1975 in Cleveland. Last show, May 31, 2013 in Chicago. Next show, June 20, 2015 in Pittsburgh. The Stones never get old and thus neither do I.

Arrgh. Some cities get Grace Potter, the Avetts, Brad Paisley or Kid Rock? I'm going to see Walk The Moon (Det) and Awolnation (P'burgh). At least my nineteen year old son is excited about the latter.

Quotemarclaff Coming from Toronto by car. Do you think i better buy a parking (via 42 $) or will i find to park my car easily ? There are lots all around the stadium. Some appear a bit shady but they're alright. Still, you'll pay $25-$35 depending on proximity to the park.

Typically these shirts have only come in LARGE. Apparently somebody finally did their market research for the Stones customer as opposed to, say, In The Moment and realized a larger average size is called for. Still, it will be one of those stretchy, thin mystery cloth shirts that will barely qualify as an XL. That's how they fit them in the box.

Keith and Ronnie should sing "You Gotta Move" as Keith's second song. That would cover another Sticky Fingers track and be more welcome than "Can't Be Seen With You" for example.

Quotedcba You wanna start a rock'n roll gig with a rocking tune. The band started their show with a slow song ("Not fade Away") and they never did it again. Except for the whole worldwide tour.

This could totally work. It addresses the fairweather fans, Sticky Fingers and the durability of the Stones: 1. Sympathy (new arrangement eschewing the canned congas) 2. Rip This Joint 3. Brown Sugar 4. Bitch 5. Wild Horses 6. Stray Cat Blues 7. Child of The Moon > 8. Moonlight Mile 9. Dead Flowers 10. CYHMK 11. Happy (Keith) 12. You Got To Move (Keith and Ronnie vx) 13. YCAGWYW
