What about Title 5 as the second Keith number?

I would want them to make this in addition to the normal show,
I would not want to lose a Stones song... but for fun, do the
2 Keith songs... and then Keith takes a breather and Ronnie plays one of his...

... then Chuck plays a song from a "Sea Level" album?

I think we have a concept for the tour here: "the extended Jagger bathroom break" tour! >grinning smiley<

Ronnie's first album is great, but he does not, and has never had a great voice. Not only should Ronnie never be allowed near a mic on a Stones stage, but Keith's solo slot should be cut down to one song!

Your lack of faith is disturbing

I used to PEE during Keith's two songs! I seem to like it better lately. Now I use Miss You for my restroom break!

If it keeps Mick from shadow boxing with large blow up animals then fine, give Chuck a friggin song too...

I may be old fashioned, but The Stones have one of the best singers/front men a Rock
band can have. Let the Mick sing, the drummer play the drums, the guitar players play
their guitars, the lighting and sound technicians do whatever they've always done.

It's a Rolling Stones tour, not some kind of "Brittain's got talent" show.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

As likely as Bill coming back to sing In Another Land.

Keith and Ronnie should sing "You Gotta Move" as Keith's second song. That would cover another Sticky Fingers track and be more welcome than "Can't Be Seen With You" for example.

Ronnie doing Seven Days by Dylan would be good. He would outclass Keith's set which would create problems

it would be a highlight....
maybe he gets one every other show...
saw him at Golden Nugget 3-4 years ago...
brilliant!

Nice welcoming attitude you have there.

I agree with the OP to a point. I'd love to see him on backup vocals at least. Ronnie's songwriting skills are probably better than M&K combined at this point, so I'd sure like to see some contributions if they ever get around to doing an album.

Great first post! And a reasonable idea, there's really no harm to let him try.
The point should be raised to Mick by someone else than Ronnie himself though smoking smiley

This is not just a reasonable idea but "THE IDEA" for this tour. Except that, it should be the same tour since... Oaaah, I'm old now!

It would certainly mix things up... but facts be known a Ronnie song at
a Stones show will never ever happen in a zillion gabillion trillion years...
not a chance.... but it would be fun... I like Ronnie, he is freekin awesome

You mean will never happen AGAIN. Sure the One You Need from Ronnie's first album was performed twice on the TOTA 1975 tour. I think Milwauke and / or Kansas City. It is on a boot and it as a train wreck.

You are correct Sir! Cool :) @50:14 Sure the One You Need;
I think they even named the boot from KC 75 "Sure the one you need"

That is one funny boot to listen to... Jagger is really funny.

Its about when Mick Jagger is NOT singing.... The Keith part... See above..apparently it happened before that Ron got to do a song...except Jagger was on stage for it.

Wow!!!
Thanks for hooking that up guys! totally cool, and not a bad version of that song at all, I think. they could all sound pretty raw back then.

and all the more reason to do it again! come on! Ronnie sings with the stones 40 years ago, at arrowhead stadium, which they are playing again THIS summer. the stars are in alignment, again!

and.... if they do "I can feel the fire" this time, mick can come back and sing on it with Ron like he does on Ron's album. hell, I even heard a rumor that Mick Jagger co-wrote the song with Ron.

can anyone elaborate on that?

I want to hear this happening, in my face this summer, so much more now than I did yesterday.

MAKE RON SING!

this is a great idea that will unfortunately never happen.

and cut Keith back to 1 song while we're at it please!

But he still gets to sing two?

sure, as long as he's lip syncing the second song.

...the bitch keeps bitchin'...

interestingly enough, I was also dropping names and telephone numbers

If Ronnie's gonna sing, shouldn't it be a Stones song? I suggest this one:

As I said, let Ronnie stick to playing guitar at a Stones concert. Clip below shows
