Haven't been here for a while so this may already have been posted but a great site for free streaming audio of concerts mainly from the 60's and 70's is . According to Rolling Stone they are mostly sbd recordings made by Bill Graham at Fillmore East and West. No Stones concerts but many other seminal groups.

The Springsteen rehersal show put up by dmay makes it possible to compare Jagger and Springsteen version of song neither one wrote. The Jagger version is on The Chieftains cd Long Black Veil.

I've been a Stones fanatic since I heard The Last Time in 1965.(I just googled the song to make sure of the year and found out it was based in part on a traditional gospel song -. The Stones are too corporate but, Jesus how many rockers can still rock like the Stones after so many years. Even if they did peak 30 years ago, so what. ABB doesn't rate with Let it Bleed but it is better

I'd never noticed the Jagger/Noone resemblence until Rockman brought it up on another thread. I've always thought Jagger and Don Knotts looked alike in certain expressions. Don't have a side by side to show but the resemblence is there.

Last week My family ate in a restaurant (Silver Diner) with a retro theme (old diner facade, jukeboxes). In the lobby there is an LCD TV showing TV clips of performers from the 50's and 60's. As we entered a clip of Herman's Hermits was on. My 12 year old daughter asked me if they were the Rolling Stones.

First time I saw the Stones (1966) cost me $5.50. The price has stuck in my mind because I was in college and had very little money but hell it was the Rolling Stones. I'm looking for the 1981 Stones Hampton Coliseum DVD. I was at the show and at would bring back some great memories. I began collecting live cds and dvds a few months ago My DVD list is skimpy(3 Springsteen shows, one of which is FEdEx Field from 2003 - 3 camera and dubbed audio). If anyone can help with this request it would be greatly appreciated.
