If anyone is looking for an audience copy of the Stones Newark 12-15 show, I put it up at a great bit torrent site www.thetradersden.org You can download it from there. Not sure of the sign up policy if you aren't already a member as its been a long time for me, but probably easy. Not the best sound as we were up high and I just taped it for myself, but better than I expected and since no o

Even though I was up way high in the cheap seats, I was still able to get a really nice recording with card mics attached to my baseball hat. Sadly, I can't even put that online as all the sites won't allow it because the show was on ppv. So even audience sources will be hard to come by in the near future.

In 2006, I saw them twice at the Beacon Theater. First night I had a front row seat in front of Keith and for the second night they removed the seats and I stood about 5th row in front of Keith. Martin Scorsese paid me $75 a show as an extra for Shine a Light. So in 2006, The Stones *paid me* $150 to see them twice within the first few rows. This year I paid $172 to sit in the nosebleeds tonight.

We can't get there until about 8:30pm. Good to see everyone seems to be in consensus that the show will start tomorrow at 9pm when pay per view starts. I'd hate to get there at 8:30 and have the show already going. How was it getting into the show on Thursday? Were the lines long? Were they searching everyone tough? Or was it a breeze to walk in with no pat down? Just curious how m

Thanks for this post mattleeuk! Very interesting stuff. I guess my 2 picks from Shine a Light are worth a lot, Although, I'd never sell them. I caught the first one after Satisfaction the first night of the Beacon. I then caught another Keith pick the next night after Brown Sugar. On the DVD you can see Keith flick his pick at the end of the song. It cuts to another angle then cuts back to t

I was hired as an extra. I was lucky enough to see both shows. The first night there were four seats front row in front of Keith. I was lucky enough to get one of those! One of my greatest concert experiences ever. Caught his pic after Satisfaction. The second night they removed the seats to give it a more vibrant GA feel. I know the stink that erupted about the extras being actors and non-fans.

I'll have to head down to Strawberry Fields in Central Park later. I live a block away from Lennon's apartment. I usually walk a different route on purpose, but yesterday I walked in front of the Dakatoa, by the spot, and it gave me chills.

Here are two picks I caught at the Beacon shows last year. The first one is from Brown Sugar 11-1-06. Keith jammed so hard a chunck of it has been shaved off! The second pick I caught front row after the Satisfaction encore the first night.

I live next to the Beacon Theater and walking home from work today I saw flyers posted everywhere saying no parking. So I walked up to see what they were filming and it said Shine A Light. I was very surprised to see that! They have the area blocked off for all of Friday.

You guys are the biggest bunch of baby whiners I have ever heard in my life. Get over it!! So they used extras, big deal. From the get-go this was not a normal Stones show ie Clinton, Theater show, being filmed, rare songs etc I was an extra. I got paid $150 to see both shows. I'm not an actor or a model. I'm a fan who was able to weasel myself into being hired as an extra. Thats right

Just got back after a quick walk down there to see what was up. As of 9:50pm they were still playing. Working on a song I didn't know. A few poeple hanging out by the backdoor waiting for autographs. Probably will end soon.

I just walked by the Beacon and could hear Mick singing. Sounded like Sympathy. Tough to hear from outside. All doors were closed and guarded. No gawking. Limos and drivers all waiting on 75th St. They'll exit the sidedoor there when done if anybody is looking for a pic or autograph. Nobody was out there now.

Trey Anastasio is the opening act tonight. If anyone has ever seen Phish, one of their favorite covers is Loving Cup. My call is that Trey is doing everything he can to play one song with the Stones. My guess is they bust out Loving Cup with Trey. Time will tell.

Just a positive story about a kind Stones fan. Karma exists! I was walking towards Giants Stadium last night with my girlfriend and we were about a mile away when a guy walked up to us and said where are you sitting? I said upper level. He asked to see my tickets and I showed him. He said here you go, enjoy the show with these 4th row tickets and walked off. We walked the next mile in shock as we

I got 2 stage tix for Hershey park show. They were upper box 13, $255 a ticket + $25 in charges. So for a mere $560 I could have become a backdrop to the people watching the show. No thanks, so I passed to somebody who really wanted that vantage point.Would have been fun for $75 but not $255.

I hear you! I'm still waiting for them to announce the Giants Stadium opener in New York. Would be nice to make plans knowing who's opening up. Whats the holdup? Is it going to be someone really special? Someone so big they have to wait until the last moment to announce it? Jessica Simpson?
