yea..close second. JJF is wild and young, TD is more matured and cool and suitable for every mood...and that is super rare for a song. It defines the stones and what they are and stand for for me at least

I mean Axl lays the wrong kind of emotion in the songs...too serious. that's ok for the guns but doesn't fit ac/dc. he's too american you know.. all about the benji's i love gnr btw...and ac/dc

it's an open G thing. fiddle around long enough in that tuning and you will play BTMMR.. actually...it's a cousin of wild horses..chord wise. Keith really made that tuning his own...you can't ever get that with standard tuning ..And it helps to be the king of rythm.

van Gaal is equally disliked in my country too!...talk about haughtiness he has serious issues..though as a coach he has a proven track record, but man, what a d**k. Mick Taylor, hmmm he was the hottest blues/rock soloist in the seventies, the most fluent in any case, but only in the stones! I think it helps when you got the best rythm section ever to play with. nevertheless, brillian

QuoteRoughJusticeOnYa QuoteGreg Btw guys: Cruijff, not Cruyff. ...Indeed. That said: the All-Time Greatest, no doubt! (Together with a bunch of others - Messi, etc. - obviously... because true Brilliance is unique, and therefor can not be compared, let alone: ranked imo.) He was one of the very few football players (I can only think of 3 or 4) that - and I say this reluctanntly, becau

..just from two days ago recorded on a smartphone (Mexico)...it sounds like perfection to me. also loved SFM.. I love how they seem so focused to give the song it's best live rendition they can ..and succeed..in their seveties!! Unreal Yes dear Rolling stones..your music is that good! just play those suckers with all you got...any other antics only takes away imho. Is it me

QuoteBrstonesfan QuoteBob05 Just listened to Keith's "Sympathy" - Solo, if it can be called so. My goodness, what a poorness. Is this the same musician who pulled off that awesome solo on the 1989 tour? Stones Sympathy 1989 Keith has had a lot of health issues since 89 and obviously he cannot play like he did in 89. It is hit or miss for him some nights, but in general, his

sympathy is awesome...real sinister, like it's supposed to be. It's about the devil and that dude is sinister I wish they would use a real piano instead of chuck and his synth (plink plonk, i"m chuck, I'm happy, plink plonk) ...grrrr Maybe it's too much of a problem to get enough sound out of it in those big stadiums...but there must be some way to get that don

Well...he relied on Bill more then he knew. Between them they created a truly exciting sound. A sound that made Mick move his body naturally...instead of staged. Keith is brilliant in the moment, when he gets inspired by what others are doing on stage. That's where he shines and plays things that are unbelievably organic and exciting. It's instict... But he can't do tha

classic track already. mick's song yes, but since keith stopped giving a f**K since Bill left, whether he knows it or not, I'd say it's one of maybe 3 songs since 1990 that I would call classic stones 2 cents

That totally nails it! Musicians don't let their body stand in the way of what their brain...and everbody elses..wants! A steady beat...or better put, a soothing beat. be it fast, slow or whatever. It's gotta be "in the pocket" for it to really hit home..or strike a nerve with people. This is a skill! Not some godgiven innate talent Some get it right away, some hav

Wyman is 25 % of the stones magic 100% - 25% = 75% why they can't work it out is beyond me.. They can't get over he just left, is my best guess.

Sure it's all been done There's only one song after all So it's all about taste I like guitars...I think it's the most emotive instrument out there And, if played with balls, the most exciting sound by far.. Trust me, it's not done..it just started Chris is living proof of that..I mean, someone's gonna rebel against that attitude sooner or later,

SSMC must be his worst..the only one i can think of I really dislike. When I first heard it ...it just annoyed me. still does. I think You got me rocking is his last powerhouse riff that delivers all the excitment and energy that the classic ones do. between start me up and ygmr...it's hard to think of one. He has all these great lilttle riffs of course..but the larger than life riff

hmm...I don't really like MT's playing in that clip. I understand why keith got bored with him..he is /was a phenomenal leadplayer but rythm...hmm. He's always too loud and doesn't seem to know when to hold back or put the gas on... Ronnie is, like keith, a master at this. Like James Brown said, a guitar is just another drum. You don't want your drum same tempo sa
