Why not Bill Wyman playing bass like he did when the Faces reformed for one performance in the 90's. I think that would have a bit of symmetry to it!

I was going to say what Dandypowderman said. Ronnie Lane was great - but they continued well with Tetsu. 74 and 75 I believe.
Never quite the same though! cf Ronnie replacing Taylor!
