Hey Nashville, how was the KISS concert? I'll be seeing them again in a couple weeks in Vancouver.

Wolfmother is still around? Saw them on their first tour, was a great show.

Go! They're amazing live especially Amy. 1 of the best live bands I've seen in a long time.

Woohoo! Another great lead from checking this thread periodically. I've been wanting to see them for 4 or 5 years now. Now I'm seeing em at 9:30 Club March 1st thanks to reading your post 20 min. ago.

Saw Doobies Saturday night in Abbotsford just outside Vancouver. The final show of their 50th Anniversary tour. Show was sold out which was a bit surprising. Tom Johnston wasn't with them because of his back surgery earlier this year, but the replacement bass player sounded a lot like him. Pat Simmons and Michael McDonald's vocals were really good. Good sound, not too loud.
Pretty bare bones stage, started at 8pm and ended around 1015. Played pretty much all their hits and some deep album cuts. One weird thing during the encore is that after Listen To The Music, they then played a song called Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan, but lots of the crowd were leaving. Should have done that before Listen To The Music. I know McDonald and former Doobie Jeff Skunk Baxter used to be with Steely Dan. This concert, along with seeing John Fogerty at the same venue a couple years ago, probably had the oldest average crowd age I've seen! Might have to update that if/when I see Stones again.
Overall, decent concert, my ticket was $65.
Now KISS on Nov 8.

Saw the Doobies earlier this year ($25 all-in LiveNation tickets). Good show. Probably same set list. Tom J was out in Tennessee too. Don't forget to let me know about your KISS experience.

I was mad when they offered the $25 tickets for Doobies after I bought them! I'm sure the KISS show will be identical to when I saw them in 2019 on the opening night of this current farewell tour! I will post about it. Filmed a few songs then, definitely want to film opening Detroit Rock City! Was there an opening act? When I saw them they had this artist guy come on and paint a picture.
