well i would like to see yours!
besides, the votes so far are making "something else" a strong contender.

>> I'm with sssoul. <<

i understand this as meaning your vote is the same as my vote, right?
ie for Mack Jigger's if the outlines can be made to look good, etc?

What happened to since 1980? It almost like your turning this shirt into a rolling stones shirt instead of sticking more to the fan club. The stones are on tour in 2007,i know we are too but that i think takes away from your web-page.

How about a 'Some Girls' type shirt with the heads of all band members past and present including those on the periphery, as far as the general public are concerned, by this I mean Lisa, Daryl and Chuck etc? Apologies if someones already put this idea forward, couldn't be *ssed to read 26 pages.

Yeah sssoul,we would need an artist to draw those freaky looking bonker fans. But you got me jist of thing's though huh,you could make a really cool fan club shirt originating from that painting plus it's from this tour,it'a a brand new painting by Woody.

Don't like having a date on it - and why not have pictures of all of the fully fledged Stones members (i.e. as shown but with Mick T and Brian), since we are fans of all of them and not just the current lineup. It would give it a big advantage over any gig shirt.

Hey Rockman and Tralala, Thank's for the info on that b-stage painting by Woody. You know Edvard Munch very enlighting and interesting stuff. Youknow you learn something everyday.

You have some good point's i agree with Beely, but come on Tatto you sucking and undercover i don't think so there some of my favorites. Like one critic said tatoo you sounded like cocaine was recorded in it it sounded so good as in posh cocaine. But i agree just have a simple iorr shirt so people recognize other people don't turn it into a stones shirt and try and to impress them, they have enogh going on and they will eventually see them it really for us the fans. and say hey who are you on the board.sorry i will qoute some of this post later i m late for a lunch out.

I'm not the only (female) IORRer whose heart sinks at the thought of another one size fits all t-shirt that will look like a big tent. The link below is for a pattern to alter the shapeless, high neck t-shirts into something wearable. Now we just need to find someone who can sew the damn things and alter them!

>> i would appreciate your take on that. <<

since you ask: i like the idea of a simple logo-type thing too, but since the Stones' logo is out
and this site doesn't have a logo per se, someone would need to come up with a compelling symbol,
and it seems like that hasn't been proposed yet, since not everyone's saying YEAH THAT'S IT! to anything.
at the same time, i have nothing (0) against the idea of using a cool image of the four current Stones.
i can love the band's whole history without needing it all on a tshirt.

that site has some cute things - i like the ponchos - and well priced.

however, you can buy women's "fitted" shirts - here's a link to one site which seems decently priced and are meant to be ordered in bulk:

Thank you sssoul, for posting that link of the b-stage painting. I learned a few thing's here from some historins on Munch, very interesting. Thanx again,i still think we could make a killer iorr shirt out of that painting with some work. I might have some brillant artist friends of mine conjour something up,if that happens i will post it and see if anyone would like one of them.Peace. WOW! with sssoul you were my 500th post,do i get some sort of chip here like AA, HA!HA! just kidding lol.

For some reason to me anyway the stones tour 2007 does'nt work, imo don't want to bum anybody out because everybody is trying here. It just seems to much official stones. One other thing i don't know how you could do it bv,but like you said early on people were saying stones fan club of europe like you said,IORR is the biggest and best stones fan club on the net according to google and like you said it is world wide now not just Europe. So if you could sqeeze all world or stones world wide fan club i think that would be cool since 1980 it just show's how big and great your site has become.

i love that charlie silhouette!

i have a new idea - maybe this is too complicated, but the Monkees did it for their '86 comeback tour:

have several shirts from which to choose - one with that charlie silhouette, one with that keith silhouette, one with that mick silhouette, and one with a ronnie silhouette (or maybe one with brian, mick t, and ronnie all together). the text would be the same on all shirts.

for the monkees tour, of course, i picked the davy jones shirt.

Re: The official IORR T-shirt

Call me a grouch but I vote NO for red and NO for that photo. It's too big and Keith doesn't look good in the first one and he ends up with a ridiculous look on his face in the manipulated one. Ablett has come up with some good ideas and so has Mack Jigger. I vote YES for Ablett's reverse but on the front instead. I'm probably in a minority but I would prefer no photo. Just a logo and some discreet wording instead. Understatement rather than in your face. Just my humble two pennies' worth.

Call me pedantic as well, but "n" (as in "and") has two letters missing from it, so both should be replaced by an apostrophe - not just the first one. That is to say: rock 'n' roll
