What I’d like from this album are riff-driven songs where the riff plays through the entire song, ala JJF or Satisfaction.

Too often recently (last 40 years!) we get a riff intro and then rather generic rhythm guitar thru the rest of the song.

Oh yes, the dynamite riffs!

Talking of "dynamite riffs", I wonder what Keith would consider his "dynamite riffs", if any, over the past 40 years to be ?

Would say the new riff and the "Don't get angry with me" will be perfect on Ice hockey games in the future!

Still interesting to see if the song's actual title will be just "Angry", the title that has been registered.

Remember the No Filter Tour launch?

They teased us with "No Stopping" first.

The second is whether or not it will be streamed on any social media so that we can all, subject to timezone, watch it as it happens.

When it's in London 2:30pm (14:30) on 6th Sept., then it's in:

Tokyo 22:30

Perth (AUS) 21:30

Sydney (AUS) 23:30

Auckland (NZ) 7th Sept., 01:30am

For other cities, see: [www.TimeAndDate.com] .

7th September, 1.30am probably be on our 6am news

According to ICANN Lookup, dontgetangrywithme.com was created on 2023-08-23 07:08:03 UTC

Angry.com was created on 1999-12-02 11:36:24 so they definitely missed out on that!

Maybe the track name could be 'Don't Get Angry' (like in the Hackney Diamonds ad). 'Angry' was probably only a placeholder while 'Don't Get Angry With Me' could be too long.

Sure, also possible. A shorter title is definitely punchier.

"Rain Fall Down" certainly has its riff repeated throughout the entire song, but I can't say if that riff or song actually belonged to Keith or Mick.

Ride like the wind at double speed.....

The. counterpoint riff that comes in almost at the end of Always Suffering, during the second solo, is amazing. It lasts all of three seconds, at the end of a song few ever highlight, and that has never been done live, but it's a peach. A hidden gem.

Re: Hackney Diamonds - New Rolling Stones album due out soon!

The licks Keith did on the latter-day albums, like on Flip The Switch, Already Over Me and Let Me Down Slow are interesting. More so than the open G-recycling, imo (although riffs like Love Is Strong and Baby Break It Down sound good, too).

At least some of those "Don't Get Angry With Me" stickers are definitely real - just saw a Facebook post by my German friend posing with said stickers in Berlin. It actually looks like he managed to rip a few of them off lamp posts and such...

Interesting, thanks for collating all that info...and not to have you 'working' but I was curious about the next 10 under the top 10. In some respects the top 10 is obvious...what comes next?

Surely You Can't Always Get What You Want...maybe IORR...SFM...but they aren't as obvious as the top 10.

It's really stunning to see how the streaming numbers don't correlate that much with the importance of the "warhorses" in concert. Beast of burden having almost 3x the streams of JJF? Under my thumb more than twice as much as SFM?

That's quite interesting.

You Dont Have To Mean It is easily Keith’s worst solo track imo.

That may be my favorite Stones track of the 90’s. IMO.

Could be mine as well. A brilliant, well done, beautiful track!
