I'd rather talk to the Vaccine Hesitant, see why they are hesitant and figure out if there is room for discussion and changing-of-minds....
I know alot of people who are hesitant, and some might even be "ant-vax", but I can't imagine talking with them and saying "just goes to show you can't fix stupid you f*king idiot".
I don't even feel it's my place to try and push the vaccination on any one who is hesitant or anti-vax - I simply let them know my wife and I have it along with many others, we feel good about it, and leave it at that.
Would I prefer everybody get in line and get the vaccination? Yes, but some might have their own personal and/or legitimate reasons for not wanting to get it.

There are some people who do not want them for religious or medical reasons and I can understand that but anyone who has been a denier, who has refused to wear a mask and has taken no precautions is a whole different story. Those are two different groups of people and far too many are in the latter group.
If I got into a conversation with someone like that and they fed me their anti-vaxxer nonsense I would tell them they were a stupid 'f'in idiot then I would leave because I have see no value in spending time listening to them.
I have friends in many places who have been vaccinated and tell me they are regularly having to deal with those people. I know someone who is fully vaxxed who in those situations just starts coughing.

In Brazil tragically over 1300 babies have died from Covid.
Would giving a pregnant woman the vaccine also provide some protection for the child?

This fellow Wade is not a scientist, he is a journalist.
Looks like he favors "creationism" over evolution...
Yep more right wing "facts" we are supposed to debate. Not sure why "facts" from the flat earth crowd needs to be debated.

Did not know that, I knew they were against blood transfusions. They're a much larger group than Christian Scientists.

I double-checked, and it seems they revised their denomination a long time ago - as long the vaccine isn't based on blood or blood-related stuff.

well...it seems Hasidic Jews aren't the biggest fans of the vax.
I don't want to generalize b/c I have no idea if this is religious-doctrine-based or how widespread the issue is or what....
here's what the article below says...
a minority distrust vaccines — for reasons that have nothing to do with religious doctrine.
Yet the fact that some Orthodox Jews live outside the mainstream, avoid technology, and hold rabbinic opinion in high esteem may leave them particularly vulnerable to anti-vaxxers.

I guess it's not as bad in Israel....for whatever reason.

it seems that the voice of the Rabbi is very important in this culture....so, those would be the people to listen to....figure out their concerns and figure out a way to work w/ them to confront the problem in a way that is acceptable to all....which is what Israel did....
Blumenthal insisted on keeping an open line of communication with recalcitrant rabbis. He needed them on his side, knowing they would have the most influence to convince their followers to get vaccinated . . . Blumenthal brought in Itamar Grotto, then serving as deputy director general of Israel's Health Ministry, to meet the rabbis. Grotto debunked rumors in the community about the vaccine causing infertility in women — their primary concern. .. . "The rabbis needed to know one thing, really," Blumenthal says. "A, effectiveness, and B, safety." . . . The rabbis agreed to be vaccinated — and their adherents followed suit.
...or we could just insult them, call them names and see where that gets us.
I think education and awareness makes a big difference .Quote

The rabbi's are reasonable and can be convinced. The Tucker Carlson crowd is not, can not and will not be convinced. BIG difference.

U.S. CDC finds more clotting cases after J&J vaccine, sees causal link
A leading hypothesis appears to be that the vaccines are triggering a rare immune response that could be related to these viral vectors.
"Rare" until it happens to you.

Covid isn't rare and has killed millions worldwide. I'd take the risk from the vaccine over taking the risk of round 2 of Covid. Numbers with the vaccine much better.

98.6% recovery rate. I'll take those odds.

The odds of recovering from the vaccine are much higher than 98.6%
