Yes, that would be a more adequate subject. I've seen a 2-CD edition listed somewhere (I can't find that link), and I heard that the "limited edition" could actually be a 2CD + 1DVD, possibly a live concert. Paris 2017, perhaps?

to call a live album recorded in Paris 'Honk ltd' doesn't make any sense at all!!??

The correspondence with the RSD release is probably not coincidence. That version of She's A Rainbow being released on RSD is live from Paris 2017. So maybe we're getting a live compilation from the recent tours? Maybe some rarer songs (Fool To Cry has been performed recently, Mixed Emotions, Play With Fire, etc.)

I figure by the end of the week we'll know...

I guess that would be cool but still seriously underwhelming. Studio tracks of Wild Horses and Rock and a Hard Place were playing in the teaser videos so one would probably guess another compilation album. Maybe the "K" teaser will preview a new song.

I wish you was right, but I there are song titles on the cover that haven't been performed since 2012. Rock and a hard place, hot stuff etc. So I guess the covers are just similar because it was less work than to design two covers...

Also there are only post-1971 songs on the cover. To my theory is that this is the successor or jump back.

It's the exact same songs as JUMP BACK with one added.

Gonna guess Beast Of Burden, RAAHP, Mixed Emotions, Emotional Rescue, Hot Stuff, Fool To Cry and Miss You are the single edit versions, and perhaps IORR and UOTN are the FORTY LICKS edits so that Rocks Off would fit.

Think this is part of that company that's doing the socks etc?

On JUMP BACK Emotional Rescue and UOTN are the LP versions.

Hmmm... it is an updated version of Promotone era greatest hits (starting with "Brown Sugar"), initially released as MADE IN THE SHADE, then as REWIND and lastly as JUMP BACK, each of their major record companies having one of their own (of course, covering one after the other a bit larger era, as the dedades go by). Probably we might have thought that the times for those have gone, after the release of FORTY LICKS and GRRR... covering their whole career, but oh no, now we are back in the old normal (for the follower of those two last mentioned, we probably need to wait for the 60th Anniversary).

Actually it's been over 25 years of the last 'best of Promotone era' album, so it was about the time, right?

But my god, how oddily are those sides constructed!

Would have been nice to have a live tune from 50 and Counting with Mick Taylor.........Sway comes to mind. Instead we get Ed Sheeran.
And Dave Grohl...I was at that show ...nothing against him but his vocals were bad on this tune and his guitar playing was a bit harsh to put it mildly.
Fun and energetic to see it live as it was a change from the norm, but doubt I'd ever listen to it on cd/album...

So at last we get some sort of "duets" album that's been mentioned a few times over the years.

Coming up with that HONK concept must have been like pulling teeth but they made it, amazing !

After all Grrrr was not available on Spotify and that means "One More Shot" either, problem fixed ;-)
