The Worst.
Lots of articles about the Croke Park rumour:

yeah, but it is likely that they are all referening to the same source.

btw.: How might the upcoming tour be called? No Filter II…?

Overpriced Warhorses Tour 2018 would fit, but won't be used.

no, that tour was alreday last year's

You mean they play mainly rarities this year? I think 20, then 19 tracks with 16 warhorses and 17 are identically every night.

I was refering to "overpriced" not (so much) to old warhorses[/quot

I don't expect a sort of "Brexit rebate" this year. Prices will be as high as possible for sure.

The Mariott in Twickenham only gives you a day to cancel your reservation, doesn't seem like a good hotel to use if unsure of the dates....

To be honest how much time do you need?

As soon as the official dates are confirmed i will be cancelling straight away if different dates.
I can cancel the day before via booking.com.

Unless I am reading you wrong.

You may be. If you book the Mariott, you have until Feb 5 to cancel. If the band doesn't announce tomorrow, you're stuck with it. But acommodation shouldn't be an issue, this is inside London.

I have until the 20/06/18 to cancel mine.

Could it be that roller99 might be reading the date wrong ?
In the UK it's day/month/year vs here in the states where it's month/day/year.

thumbs up

Can't find any mention of an Aiken Promotions press conference this afternoon (except the post here) Where does that info come from?

Besides, Aiken has recently made their announcements via social media...

Someone posted it up on boards.ie gig rumours forum

A CP gig would be announced in the stadium I reckon not in a Dublin hotel which is the odd thing ???

Some swerve if the Stones played the Aviva??

Good questions. Also, usually the Stones have taken care of announcing their shows themselves (thru the app/social media/www).

Should be in 10 minutes but I doubt it. The Stones would do an announcement.

and – as we say in German – in China fällt ein Sack Reis um (in China a pack of rice is falling)
Or – since it's about Ireland – a pint of Guinness is being dropped

Um, how could Healy52003 have known who the announcement was about? The post about the press conference to be held today was indeed a fact, not a rumor. At no point did he say it was about the Stones. (He only hoped it would be).

Healy52003 is also correct in posting that the promoter in Dublin has applied for an additional concert in Croke Park. Widely reported in the local media since last Thursday. Now, as the application is only being processed at the moment we have no way of knowing what artist it's about.

I get people are disappointed but c'mon, don't shoot the messenger.

not my fault theres was no word about the stones today

It was a private press event that a poster on boards.ie posted up last week, although someone should of asked him about the Croke Park show and how the licene process is going
