the last day of grammy eligibilty is friday which makes me think they'll release the entire disc.
most of the time when it looks like they're doing something random there's really a business decision behind it.
they used to record in jamaica, germany, france, london, los angeles etc and it gave us an image of a band that liked to keep moving.of course we now know it was just for tax purposes.
Really? Looks like it's passed:
What are the eligibility requirements?
For the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards, albums must be released between Oct. 1, 2015 and Sept. 30, 2016. Recordings must be commercially released in general distribution in the United States, i.e. sales by label to a branch or recognized independent distributor, via the Internet, or mail order/retail sales for a nationally marketed product. Recordings must be available for sale from any date within the eligibility period through at least the date of the current year’s voting deadline (final ballot).
oh man, you're right-i went back and looked ,the article i was reading was from sept 28.
terrible move on the stones part, this is the kind of thing the grammy people go crazy for.even if it didn't sell alot at first, if it's nominated let alone wins an award the sales skyrocket.

Yeah, it does have that sound. Cook Cook and Fancy Man were, IMO, two of the best things the Stones have done since 1989. When it comes to the blues and the Stones are rolling, no one can even come close.
Speaking of, I'm still holding out hope that "You Better Leave That Man Alone" will see the light of day; that taste we got on the Four Flicks DVD was mouth-watering.

How can you say that based on a 10-second clip?
