The Rolling Stones do plan tours at all times. That is the promoters that present plans for them to perform. Including this summer. In Europe. Then they realize they want to do something else this summer, which is perfectly legit at their age and their moment in time. So they postpone their summer plans until after summer.
Just enjoy the summer. The summer will be hot and great as usual in Europe. We will have great strawberries, cold beer, great looking girls and gals in the streets, it will be a great summer. After summer, that is in August/September, we will see how they sort of their fall plans. They don't need to rush anything. We just have to be patient.
I have been a fan for five decades. Patience is the word, when it comes to waiting for anything great happening as far as the Stones goes. I do still remember like it was yesterday. I became a fan in 1971. Then I was patient. Very patieont. Waiting every day for so long. Then in 1972 I got a new edition of NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS. The UK music magazine. I used to buy it every week. On the front page they had glued a flexi disc. Exile On Main Street. The Only Street To Be. I asked for three copies of that magazine. One copy of the flexi I played to the pieces until I got the real Exile Album. The other two are still in my basement with all the other stuff I got over the years.
Why do I say all of this? Well it is all about patience. About waiting for something great to happen!

I'll save you the trip to Google translate: "The autumn tour is becoming clearer. About fifteen dates will be given from September, notably in Germany and France. The Paris pass is scheduled for October, with three dates at the U-Arena, the future sports complex / theater that the Stones will inaugurate."

Also says the Sticky Fingers Fonda Theatre show from 2015 is scheduled for a DVD & BluRay release this year.
Cool. Hope this is accurate.

To be fair, Eric postponed his LA show due to a severe bout of bronchitis. The photo caption indicates that his peripheral neuropathy was the reason, as though he's facing iminent demise. If that were the case, he would not have rescheduled. I'd look like a bucket of crud after a bout with bronchitis too. Hope he's well on the mend.

Oh yeah I understand that. I am merely pointing at that anything can derail plans for people, especially those, like ME too, that are getting on in age. So for people to say patience, well, no I disagree. IF they are going to do Something/ANYTHING, get onto it. You never know...
