Sometimes they do one smaller venue on a tour, e.g. in Berlin also.

Sometimes they do one smaller venue on a tour, e.g. in Berlin also.

The reason they didn't book the Olympic Stadium was probably because they didn't sell out in 2003 and 2006. They had filled the stadium 2014, though.

There are some exceptions but Stones tend to do shows at brand new venues or cities never visited before.

Stadion Slaski in Chorzów (Poland), where they played in 1998, and it is the one of Mick's favourites shows ever, will be reopened in September with huge concert. Chairman of Stadion ?l?ski, Krzysztof Klimosz in interview said, that they were in talks with Stones, but they wanted to make tour in May, and September would be too far for them. It was in December 2016. Maybe if they change plans it will happen..?

Tour plans for May/June are nixed I think. Maybe a chance for Katowice, but they may prefer Warsaw.
