So, it looks like Los Lonely Boys opening in Chicago. Closer to Tex blues than the Chicago variety.

combination of elements from Santana, Los Lobos and SRV...nothing wrong with that. I like 'em....any band with a drummer named Ringo can't be bad....

That's a good opening act....once again I'll take them over the BEP.

Black Eyed Peas aren't that bad. I'll probably get Motley Crue because I will be at the SoCal shows.... Now that's really bad.

T&A, are you a Beatles fan as well? We'd have more to discuss at lunch then I'm sure smiling smiley I still haven't worked out arrangements for SBC - Let you know.

Sunday I spent the entire day listening to Beatles (incl. solo Beatles). I never understood the deal with some Stones fans that diss the Fab Four. Opposite side of the same coin.

The only problem with the Beat les is that they suck in every way. Other than that they aren't completely horrible.

If thats really the case then I'm slightly disappointed. Dont get me wrong, they're not horrible... I'd just much rather see Beck, Wilco, Pearl Jam or Trey Anastasio then Los Lonely Boys.

NO! NO! NO! Come on!!! Can't we get a better opening act than this? I had heard it might be Motley Crue (which was depressing enough). I'll admit I've never heard any songs by this band...but why not Pearl Jam or Metallica? Chicago's a big city; let's get some big names!

If you love the Rolling Stones, you'll probably at least LIKE Motley Crue... they are a tremendous live band, one of the best ever IMO.
