If there isn't a rumour soon, I'mma gonna start a few!

please could you start one about Fleetwood Mac .....

This is only second hand news, but Fleetwood Mac are opening for the Stones in Toronto in October. In my dreams. Because I've been to Vegas and I'm never going back again. But if you want to go to Vegas, don't stop on my account - you can go your own way. And so forth and so on. Someone else will have to finish this so we don't break the chain. grinning smiley

If we don't hear in July, I don't think anything else will be happening for now.

They've talked about "cranking up the machine", or at least Keith has, and to put a production like theirs on the road takes many folks and serious lead times to coordinate.

I have to believe they'll do more than the 3 shows already announced. The question is how much lead time do we as fans get to throw our travel arrangements together? Hahaha! Sooner the better for me, I can tell you...

They've sold tickets months ahead in North America, and also with as little as a month or month and a half before a date.

Here's hoping for news soon.

I'm ready to make some plans!

First show was San Diego on May 24 2015

41 Days.

The stage set up for Vegas will be so different than that for Desert Trip. Does it make any sense to drag it out for one gig? C'mon boys, admit you're screwing with us!

Maybe they're re-evaluating the outrageous prices they were asking for Vegas. Seems that quite a few of the inferior $750's remain unsold.
Back in the good old days of 'normal' pricing, this arena would have sold out in minutes. If they can't sell it out in Vegas$, very unlikely they will sell out anywhere else.

Vegas is always higher-priced than most other cities on a tour.

I was at MGM #2 back in '94, upstairs for $200 a pop face value, but those shows were the only indoor gigs for Voodoo Lounge in NA... Amputated Cobra and all!! The outdoor shows were runnin' about $50 that year, if I remember correctly.

Hopefully Desert Trip hasn't set a bad precedent, one where The Boys would shoot for $7M a night from their fans alone at all their gigs... Can't see that as a feasible scenario.

As far as I know, the prices for Vegas shows have been the same as other shows for the last few tours they played there - at least as far back as Licks.
Last time I saw them there was the 50 and counting tour (at MGM), and the prices were the same as the shows I saw at Staples Center and the Anaheim Pond (both arenas).
And I don't think Desert Trip will set any precedent - the Stones have already done this themselves. Each tour the prices are more outrageous than the previous.

Listen up MICK JAGGER

Sacramento CA BRAND NEW ARENA is the GREENEST all solar powered
AND the food is from local farmers
It's a FIRST, let's do it right,
after Sir Paul leaves (I have tickets opening night! Oct. 7th)

Here is a video of the green mean magic machine (etched leaves on the panels that line the outside of the building into tree landscapes? Awesome!)

Let's do it Mick. Sac town.

Edit: not all of the food is from local farmers, most of it I believe, and what a hoot if they pass recreational cannibus in November and brownies are put on Sports venue menu... they sell beer, right?
Ahead of myself, but Hey Mick,
Paul and I'll test out the joint for you on Oct. 7, see if the new roof holds, take in the paint fumes (but it has ginormous windows: fresh air! but still a roof/ no weather element)
I wonder if I'll get lucky again... (seeing The RS)

Well, as another Sacramento guy, I'd phrase it this way... "Please, please, please!" It really is a hell of a building. Perfect for a Rolling Stones show.

I actually considered going on and getting a $700 set of tix for Desert Trip as I have relatives that live 3 miles from the venue but the following concerned me:

1. Flights right now seem ridicously high from Philadelphia- its like they are expecting a mass influx from the East Coast similar to college bowl games etc..

2. Can I really do THREE double concerts in a row? In heat as well!

3. I have Anderson Wakeman and Rabin at the Keswick 2x that weekend.

1. You have several choices of airports
2. 92 degrees in the daytime (pool) BUT only 64 degrees in the evening (concert)
