It's beginning to feel an awful lot like we'll get Desert Trip and one Vegas show and that's it. They had tons of cash thrown at them and took it to do DT then decided to add one show in a place where they can fill the venue and that will bring people in from around the country. Hope not but it's starting to seem like that might be it.
child please-
the money's on the table and the commander is getting ready to do a giant sweeping motion, the records getting finished and the stones are ready to roll-stop worrying.

The Islanders and Nets play in Brooklyn so open dates in that building will be slim also.

Here is November so far- but as you said once the Nets schedule is out there will be less dates of course.
My guess would be 10-11 remaining dates with 3-4 in NYC.
That would leave perhaps PHL 1, DC, 1, BOS 1, CHI 2 , TOR 1. This feels more like a 2013 repeat as someone mentioned in a thread earlier.

I would love to relive 2013 - Philly, DC...and this time I'll go for a few shows in NYC and throw in a trip to Boston.
Geez, I wish I didn't have to work...guess I'll have to be sick a lot come tour time.

i just read the interview with Ronnie and Sally in Hello Magazine, about the newborn twins,
where sally says "they are al going on tour together, with Ronnie in September"
( and that Keith has'nt seen the girls yet, because he's in America...so.. no studiorecording in London at the moment,as some people think )

Can't see them doing the Desert Trip cold so there will probably be 3 or 4 shows before that one.

They don't want to hear things like "hmmm...the Stones sucked", or "The Who, Bob, Neil, Paul, and Roger blew the Stones away", or "they're too old, should have hung it up long ago".....

... and the Rock 'n' Roll Circus. Hairball is right. The pressure will be intense, like the Olympics for old rock stars.

There is no MSG!! It died several years back when they renovated the building. It can not make music magic anymore. Brooklyn is the choice for NYC. Period.

I agree MSG has not been the same since the renovations, but the acoustics are still good for an arena. The sound at Barclays in Brooklyn is terrible, especially in the upper levels.
Agree about the "music magic" factor. It is less intimate since the renovations,
but Barclays isnt exaclty the most magical place either.
I prefer going out to the Rock in Newark these days for arena shows.
Good sound and easy to move about within the arena.
