I think it unlikely after 3 months away from home.... but the short video tribute Keith did to Merle Haggard certainly looked like it was in front of a studio microphone. maybe they are finishing off the vocals/mixing for the new one..

I'm not sure if this has something to do with their new album or if it's some other project Mick might be involved.

C'mon Mick, we want only 'old school' stuff for Stones new album. Carl Falk is good for your next solo project.

Don't bet your name on it, the blues album is only small talking.
Mick has dozens of demos (he said that about 2 years ago now) so I don't know where the blues stuff will fit among so many new songs.

We have never heard they are releasing a blues album officially. We've heard they cut some old blues songs. They often record covers when they get together. The Clapton talk (if it pans out) suggests at least one or two blues tracks may see release, but there's no reason to think the album won't be the eclectic mix of rock, blues, country, ballads, funk, reggae, soul that we've seen in the past. The possibility of Carl Falk having a hand in producing or mixing a potential pop single to help sell the album is hardly surprising. It's likely this album's "Rain Fall Down."

I find it hilarious! He's also partly responsible for Nicki Minaj's Pound The Alarm and Starships.

No Keef wont have that, unless he is allowed to bring Steve Jordan in.

If we're lucky Mick got the green light from Keith for making only the single with this guy...

Really really think, Mick is also working on his new solo cd. Just hope so, although i would like a Wandering Spirit part2, or some of his songs with the Red Devils.

Just dont let the band try some poppy songs, it would not suit them.

More chance of Donald Trump replacing Brian Johnson for the AC DC shows.

Agreed that Keith won't allow Carl Falk near the Stones. That's like suggesting he'd let the Dust Brothers produce the Stones or even better sample a Biz Markie rap in place of a guitar solo on the single. It would never happen.
