I hope this is B.S. on Keith's part, and that they're working intensely on making this a good album.
As long as it's a strong album I don't care when it comes out. If they need more time I think that's a good sign...

The new album was confirmed by the band earlier this year at the launch of Exhibitionism, a career retrospective at London's Saatchi Gallery.
The recording sessions have included both new material and a number of blues covers, including songs by Little Walter and Howlin' Wolf.
Richards said the album would feature "a lot of Chicago blues" and would be "coming out in the autumn some time".

Heard a clip on Radio 2 earlier and they referred to the album being out in Autumn and being an album of blues covers.

Makes sense, Chicago blues, coming full circle. These are the type of songs where a Clapton or Mick Taylor would really shine.

I have no problem if the blues disc comes this fall and great mick and Keith songs come next April. It might be a really good move on their part

To be fair it was the music reporter who referred to it as an album of blues covers.
Keith only said that Eric Clapton did 2 tracks with them. He also definitely referred to the album coming out in the Autumn.

Keith is 'toying' with us in his latest interviews.
However .. it is my guess is the album / (or albums) are very close to being finished .. but I have no idea what it is or in what form .. Single.. double... Standard? covers? .. No clue?
