I would like to start a meet up Friday night in San Diego. The place is Patricks, and the address is 428 F Street. It is near 4th Street in downtown, walking distance to Petco Park. I have been going there since 1989,and it is the best bar in the gaslamp district in San Diego by far! Bill Magee Blues Band is playing there, and he is a fantastic guitarist! He played with Jimi Hendrix in the early sixties before Hendrix made it big. He will also be available to talk to. The cover charge is only $5,and if there is a line to get in, you usually don't have to wait more than 10 minutes. I live about 8 miles away, and will be there with some friends. I will definitely be wearing a Rolling Stones jacket or shirt.

I know exactly where to stand for the rehearsal/sound check for best sound, and perhaps view as the band enters. I was there for McCartney last Fall and we saw him pull in, wave to us, and then heard his 30 minute sound check free!

I'm curious about your preferred outside spot for catching the rehearsal sounds. I'll be roaming around Petco Saturday hoping to catch some notes. Thanks!

I am not very interested in their in/out but want to listen rehearsal.
I hope it will be warmer than last evening in LA.

Did we ever get a detailed seating chart for this?
Seat 29 for A-3...Am I correct that is further away from center stage than seat 1? In other words, do the seats go 1-xx from center toward the sides?

I met a guy from England(probably one of IORRians) yesterday morning and night at Fonda and he was wearing just T-shirt and shorts. It was unbelievable...

That was me. Yeah, it was a bit chilly, but I was planning on getting in - I'd rather be cold outside than too hot inside! And it wasn't that cold...
I'm planning to come down and (hopefully) listen to rehearsals on Sat afternoon - gfmsoccer, where is the best place to be?

still haven't figured out how to post pics. Works in the stadium are underway since 5am today. Lucky Brands shop in 9th street full of Stones gear. Great to be here and looking forward to Patricks and Moonshine !
