At the Omni Hotel - one floor from the top (20th?). Tried top floor first, no go, so took elevator down one floor and at end of hallway a huge window. Wouldn't be a bad place to watch the concert if it wasn't for the soundproof windows. The Stones would probably try and sell tickets for the window spot if they could and give out headphones transmitting the show. Maybe these are for Lucky Dips? Haha.

I heard that exact time estimate from a crew member 30 minutes ago.
nice view from Indigo hotel rooftop bar. maybe a bit too far for rehearsals. marriott rt bar closer to the stadium could be another option
Now I pulled P5 RL129, right field stands corner block. With a restriction "Side View"
A lame senior bus pass quip would be in order. But I'll restrain myself as I haven't kept track of their combined age as of late.

I hope they brought all the correct nuts and bolts for the stage...
they seem to be cutting it close, compared to other opening dates anyway.
Usually a bonus to going to the opening show is a night or 3 of listening
to tunes outside the stadium.

7pm report. No rehearsal or sound check tonight. As some have said they are behind because of rain , etc. will be working all night. Band is not downtown, just Roadies. Stage is decorated in black & gold with neon lights. Ramp into audience looks small to me. I would guess lunchtime sound check tomorrow or 4pm. Gates open 6pm.

They have opened up an additional block along the side of the stage - block 129 - tickets are currently available on the official site for $99 each (though I could only pull up singles).
I don't know about this particular venue, but I bought side (and, indeed, slightly behind the stage) tickets for the first O2 show in 2012 and it was one of the best views I ever had. If anyone is debating, I think it would be worth risking a hundred dollars.

Took some photos from the top of the parking garage, not the greatest quality, but you can see the floor seating is in place and all the section signs were being put out.
And then a shot of some upper level bar/club with Stones posters.
Also met Sundevil on the street, good meeting Stones fans!
