But obviously a sign of just how seriously the promoters are taking the demand/profit maximizing aspect of sales. It is a bit strange they are banking on increased demand to be close to individual band members...

Naturalust, Ya I also hope Ronnie isn't too offended or his feelings aren't too hurt. Gosh, this is the single meanest thing re. RS ticket prices I've heard yet..a low blow. I guess they all still depend on Ronnie's natural congeniality to help not to "rock the boat" that is The Stones. .

There are lots of San Diego tickets available on Craigslist, and seem to be cheaper than anything offered on SeatGeek and Stubhub. So that's the way to go right now if you care about price.

Hi Kevin, we picked our tickets up yesterday at the Padres office, got the seat tickets, the VIP passes, and the parking pass, along with instructions. We will get our lanyards inside the Premiere Club, probably so they don't get reproduced before the concert.

Yes, there are plenty of Padre fan shops near the park! Even some inside if they are manned that day. Better yet, go to a Target store in San Diego for better prices.

Strange thing is, before they sold, there were two seats next to the $629 ones at $265, so $1 more that A1. WTF? Looks like A1 is gone now too.

Yes, there are a ton of places inside the stadium to buy Padres merch. You can find everything, because the shops are big!

Don't know much about Italian food in that area but there is plenty of incredible Mexican cuisine! You will be able to find anything you want within easy walking distance of the stadium. I have been to baseball games there a few times when I was in town for conventions. Really nice area for pre & post show fun. & the stadium is really unique. Think the sound should be good. Have fun!

There is the Old Spaghetti Factory at 275 5th Ave. That would be a great place to meet!

For those without tickets, the StubHub bottom price is still high, but the mid range price on many tickets has been dropping precipitously on the mid range tickets. Just under 2,600 at the moment. For awhile the number was holding steady or going up as more tickets were being listed for sale than were being sold.

This is going to crash hard.

Tickets in hand finally. SMU package came last week. Can't wait. See you all in a couple of weeks!

Yes they all do. The green one stops going all the way east after 11 pm (at least they used to), so I wouldn't park east of Qualcomm. They should be adding extra trolleys for the event. Any of the Mission Valley, and Old Town stations will be good. Go to www.sdmts.com for more info.
