I've been listening to ABB a fair amount lately and think it's a great track. It's nice to hear them playing lesser known songs, even if they're more recent. The audiences' reaction speaks for itself as far as I'm concerned.

Thank you, it is of course MY opinion and not one that HAS to be shared by everyone else

But i still can't understand why they'd play it

To me it'd be like AC/DC suddenly adding say 'Money Talks' or some other awful shite to their next setlist for no apparent reason

...If they were to add Money Talks, it would be with reason...it's the highest charting single from the band in the US. (I am not saying anything about the quality of the song.) ...But I would be surprised if it ever makes the setlist again....but with Malcolm not there, who knows?

Money Talks and Streets of Love are perfectly decent songs, IMHO.

...and now even this usless 'Goddes in the Doorway' outtake (arranged by the Stones) has become a great song! Why not a masterpiece? Streets of Love it's a masterpiece!

It's amazing how such an awful bad song that causes me such teeaaaas could be considered "good" by some people.

Great tune if they had released it as on instrumental song.............

straight ahead country ballad that Italians love... what could be wrong with that?

Streets of Love (a.k.a. 'Brand new set of rules' part. 2). Following the River (a.k.a. 'Brand new set of rules' part.3) Mick please stop with these crappy tear-jerker ballads in Goddes style.

I think I can deal with one every 7 years or so.

Great track and I spent 5 of the best minutes of my life in Rome - absolutely stunning how the crowd sang along with this "tear jerker".

So how come we hear Mick Jagger's electric guitar in that clip, when he didn't play it in Rome?

Ronnie's guitar is in the left channel, Mick is center and Keith's acoustic in the right channel.

Just made an A/B check with the boot. The first 1.35 minutes of the YT video I do not know where they come from, but 100% not from Rome. From 1.35 on - music included - it's all Rome.

That's true. I'm pretty sure the pro-recorded audio (the first 1:35 minutes) are from the Biggest Bang-dvd (Austin).

This video just goes to show that my ears did not deceive me on the weekend. SOL sounded fantastic. Listen to the crowd at the end!

Just remember that the Streets Of Love audio in that video actually is from Austin 2006, only the few seconds in the end of the video with the crowd singing is from Rome.
