What do you expect from a band that played a show before their bassist was burried? They lost me then...... I've watched clips, they sound mediocre,

not really fair to say. i'm sure the band would have had to pay a ton to break a contract and not play. once there was some contract dispute over an aerosmith show and the band got sued for something like 6 million dollars for not playing. it was all resolved but still
+1. Pino Paladino was obviously ready and John had been warned not to tour by doctors. It seems obvious that there was a B plan till the beginning and that it was part of the contract.

Were the Paris dates sold out before these rumors started to circulate? I checked a few weeks ago as I was on the fence for the 29th and you could still buy tickets, it's no longer the case. That could be a way of limiting the "damage" before any official announcement...

If they change the Amsterdam date it will be terrible. BOught 3 ticks for Ziggo Dome with flight back july 2nd. Big loss of money. Hope not

I really don't know what to think about that. It looks too insane to be true, hope we'll get good news today.
Godablouse, i had the same feeling this night. The second show didn't seem to sell well (as i heard from friends) but yesterday no tixs were available.

i don't know anything about doctors orders. i just know those contracts are usually ironclad. on top of that usually someone involved with the show, lights, electricians, etc are part of a union which is worse to deal with that

All of a sudden after months of slow sales? Seems more likely that they stopped sales to put a cap on the "problem".

Anyway a 30/06/2015 has been added so that seems to be sealing the deal : [www.ticketmaster.fr] with the tix to go on sale on the 15th of May, which seems a bit late, maybe that will be the deadline to swap your 28/29 ticket for the rescheduled date ?

I'm sorry guys, and disgusted, but my source who is 100% reliable, confirm that Paris #1 is cancelled. Paris # 2 is postponed to the 30th. I presume it will be officially announced soon.
And btw, it means that Ziggodome is very probably postponed too.

Re: OT: The Who Hits 50! tour
Date: May 4, 2015 14:26

Sorry, ziggodome would not be postponed.

No, 2 only. Both are cancelled, and there will be a new one on 30th. Don't know what will happen with previous tixs. They can refund everybody or transfer tixs on demand on the new date.

This is a truly SHITE way to treat fans. To cancel shows to do another gig is extremely shabby behaviour, to put it politely, and ultra-disappointing. It leaves behind a seriously bad taste.

Very, very mean. I was fooled in 2007 when I bought the tickets, they were supposed to play in Buenos Aires, and I get a cancellation. I'm being cancelled again in 2015.
Sure... I won't get fooled again. Pete and Roger, piss off you jerks.

Sorry to hear about Paris. That is a a shame. I suspect that since the show wasn't selling well they decided to pull the plug,

I get married in June, and I honeymoon to Europe. The first thing I did was buy the airfare, the latter got tickets for The Who on June 29. Based on that I scheduled all my stay in Europe. And now, how I get back everything I lost?
This is disrespectful, a pure vileness, what they have done.

I remember that the cancellation was due to Roger's health issues, wasn't it? I wasn't going to Buenos Aires, but I have a lot of friends that were in the same situation as yours, though.

No, the official word those days were "They just can't find a proper place in Brazil, so the whole trip wasn't affordable". The truth was that tickets weren't selling good enough, specially for a 60k stadium as River Plate.

Really don't like the tactics here. Guess the fans are suppose to jump at the crappy tickets available first, then turn around and buy the better ones later. If we don't do this they will cancel the concert? I was planning on buying a ticket at the gate. Nobody does this anymore? Every concert I've been to for quite a lot of years has had tickets available on concert day, even though advertised as sold out for weeks or months. I'm a little tired of this game. Just want to buy a ticket and see a show without a lot of hassle.

"Vocal problems for Roger Daltrey have forced the Who to put off a trio of scheduled shows, beginning on Tuesday. The postponements include a May 5 stop at Kansas City’s Sprint Center, then dates at St. Louis’ Scéottrade Center on Thursday (May 7) and finally in Louisville on Saturday (May 9) at the KFC Yum! Center."

Based on the Dime recording I listened to the other day I can't say I'm surprised, his voice seems to be even worse than in 2013...

Once a band plays a "FAREWELL and/or FINAL TOUR"... then that is that.
I never go see them again. I saw this band's farwell tour... and that was that.
done and dusted.

I would be more interested in seeing Joan Jett than
