There are several gates for Pelouse VIP. For me they told me to line up at gate S.

The west side with R,S and so on really is Ronnie's side, you could see the small stage being prepared.

Yes,there WILL be a catwalk.

Walked by the stadium today and didn't see anybody camping out yet.

I guess I will get to the venue around 9ish.

Had a great time at the Exile photo gallery! Dominique Tarlé was there himself and signed a card for me:

"Remember,Topi,
It's not only rock'n'roll
But we like it!
Dominique Tarlé
Paris 2014"

Amazing. So happy, and so excited for tomorrow!

3 hotels near Paris Nord were booked solid, they said some concert this weekend. Thought that was kinda funny.

Finally got a room very close to Paris Nord. This room, with its shitty wifi, is like 3 Stones concerts. I feel like I need to use the room.

Been all around the city today. Dr Bryant, the Arc de Triump, like you said is a great view. Thanks for the tip.

Didn't see a single person wearing a Stones shirt today. Unlike Maastricht and Berlin.

Frankfurt is the @#$%& of the Earth. Man what a town. I got coodies just staying one nite there.

It's going to be a great concert tomorrow. Hopefully they have the merch stands opened early like on the 50 & Counting... I'd like to get a couple shirts and bring them back to my room instead of having them thru the entire concert.

From the subway map, Paris Nord to Stade de France is like 2K. Is that all it is?

Gare du Nord to Stade de France is only one station with the RER. The bee line is about 5 km / 3.2 miles.

Interesting, direct link : [blog.stadefrance.com]

Lots of good info in the Q&A, among other things :
- no "sprinklers" (brumasiteurs/myst makers)
- compact cameras are OK
- one bottle per person WITHOUT a cap
- one little "brick" of juice/water
- one sandwich per person, in cello tape rather than aluminum
- at first she said binoculars were forbidden but then said "small" ones were ok, compacts then for those in the stands to be on the safe side
- all parking lots are full, including for motorbikes

I know it's one station, I have the map in front of me.

Going by the distance key the crows flight only seems to be 2K. I'd rather walk back and cool off, instead of the waiting and being crammed into a train.

Just wanted to double check with hopefully a local. Even 5K isn't bad.

According to 'maps' it's 5,6km. And it should take you 1 hour and 8 minutes.
You'll sleep like a log.

You'll sleep like a log... if you manage to get back to your hotel in one piece. St.Denis (the city) is bad at night and the northern area of Paris (the one you'll walk thru to get back to Gare du Nord) is the worst of the City Of Light.
So you might reconsider.

Personnally I wouldn't do it.

I gotto say, I always feel very safe and comfortable in London. No matter what neighborhood.
Berlin didn't scare me either the last couple of days, altough there were lots of homeless people who you had to push away if you wanted to throw something in the bin.

But I don't feel very safe in Paris.

I hope I can sleep. After getting back from Wabldbuhne, I couldn't fall asleep and ended up ridin' my rent-a-bike around the Brandenberg Gate and the area. Got back to my room and it was getting light out. Almost slept thru my checkout. I never packed so fast. I know I left shit behind.

Same with Pinkpop, walked around Maastricht all nite too.

The freaks come out at night. Guess I'm one too.

These strikes are really annoying...

... but necessary : you wouldn't want to end up with a British-like railroad system, ma chère?

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind if I'm still trapped in Lille at showtime.

RER is not totally affected, and the metro is all right.

Since you come from Lille, could you take the Eurostar? They are not affected at all.
