Excuse the Bon Jovi. I was searching for videos of Waldbuhne, to get an idea of the sightline for section A1. Doesn't seem bad at all. Assuming it's going to be roughly the same stage and speaker/PA setup.

Watching Waldbuhne videos and photos I wonder about the organisation. I mean the separation between blocks are just some low hedges and the sectors and the floor share the stairs. It looks like one can move absolutely freely around the venue and with even the seats not being numbered, I wonder how will they do it that it won't end up in utter chaos. But it is not the first concert there, so they probably have it figured out.

I wonder if ticketmaster throws in more tickets on monday. I remember that you could have payed with just clicking: I will transfer the money. Maybe people just don't or some credit cards were fake etc. Maybe some tickets will just be returned or cancelled.

No A1-section, but a DVD (MfG-25) of the Stones in the Waldbühne, 10-Sept-1998: [www.iorr.org] .

That is a great picture. I love the feel of real tickets. The last umpteen concerts attended left me holding a sheet of paper with a barcode on it. It's just not the same as a real ticket.

Has anyone noticed that the link to the Stones tickets in Berlin is not left at Ticketmaster?
The link should be there even if the tickets are sold out?

Re: German ticket prices updated

Apparently there's absolutely nothing left, so they removed the Ticket link.

For Düsseldorf it says "at the moment no Tickets available".

It's a pity that "for the moment" is lasting all weekend !

And there's no message when THAT moment is going to change into at THIS moment it will be available.
Very strange, really...

And there's hardly any offer at Dutch website's, for second hand tickets. It looks like all tickets are sold to only promoters or to who the hell, not to real people, even not to scalpers...

The ticket itself should look like this, even who bought it from Eventim, no?

Looks great! But what about the stage, seems rather low and easy to climb on!

No, scroll up, where you see a larger image. These are ticketmaster.de tickets. I have not seen the eventim tickets but they won't have the tm hologram on them and of course not the line "presented by Ticketmaster". Eventim is a tm competitor.

10 days before the show is normally OK of course, but not when then haven't told you so.
If they tell you in advance, then you wouldn't have to worry.

Why does there always have to be such a hassle with Stones-tickets ?

The band is irrelevant. Its the ticket agency.

Ticketmaster UK are awful. They really have never grasped the concept of people travelling and seeing multiple shows and seem to think that dispatching tickets a week or two before the show date is perfectly normal. Other UK ticket agencies tend to be more prompt.

I bought tickets from eventim for the Berlin show in 2006, and even though the tickets were bought over the Christmas/NY holidays, they were received about 4-5 days after I bought them. Thank goodness for German efficiency!

Speaking of which, Ive decided that I'm going to go for this Berlin show. Have no tickets though, so if anyone has spares, let me know (ideally a pit ticket). It'll be my 50th Stones show, and the only one thats practical or attractive this summer.

Not really, look at the Bon Jovi video in this thread or Kiss videos on Youtube... The stage seems really high. But maybe they add something to the 'naked' version.

Gazza, mine, too. If I get a ticket (and I will), the first beer is on me!

Well, Berlin will be my 10th so I am far behind. 50 shows - when did you start?

It´s not a competition. 10 is a fine number. As well as 2.
As long as it´s the Stones.

I started 1990. 8 years too late, but the 82 tour came too
early for me (I had just bought Still Life, which turned me on).

If it turns out Gazza that I can't go to Berlin -- I have two in Block B -- and you don't have any yet I'll reach out to you. You've always been supportive in the argument people don't need the hits.

I couldn't score tickets too, but I'll be there.

worst case scenario would be standing in the woods near the stage, listening only.
...just like in 1998. uhuh!

but no, I'm sure a ticket will come my way.

see you both there, I hope.

First show - Slane Castle 1982.

The others have all been since 1990 (5 in Europe 1990, 7 in Europe 1995, 1 in 1998, 7 in 1999 (2 of them in US then all 5 UK), 4 in US 2002, 9 UK/Ireland 2003, 2 in US 2006, 5 Europe 2006, 6 Europe 2007, 1 at the 02 in 2012 and the first Hyde Park show last year).

The two Slane shows in 82 and 07 were the only gigs where I got to sleep in my own bed afterwards...lol
