Also - what's up with the Singapore/Shanghai shows? As of this writing (Jan. 9) they still have not been confirmed.
I'm heaDEd to the Macau show (from Boston) - and had wanted to try and do Shanghai also, but as of now my plans are set...Glad I didn't wait for an annoucement. A lot of planning for a trip to China.

the promoter mentioned in the Israel news Marcel Avram is the same guy who organized the Stones show from A Bigger Bang tour in Bucharest. Maybe he'll come back with a statement
I just found out that Avram was born inj Bucharest in 1938, so maybe bringing
them to his hometown was a matter of the heart.

Could just mean that Bernard appreciates the love or would like to go to South America himself. If they do, I will be torn with the temptation to make a trip myself that I can't possibly afford!

Yep, me too. But it would me they're getting closer...back in the Americas, yes?

Very true. If they get as far as North as Mexico, the temptation may be overwhelming!

The way I see it, the more the Stones will tour around the globe this year to less "affluent" countries where they will have to sell tix for less money than they normally would the more likely it is that they will do a return swing through the good old U.S. of A to recoup some of those losses. ><
Good things come to those who wait, or are willing to bend over again for another hit depending on how you look at it.

This is sadly true. They can't please everyone. With the US being so vast, though, they still haven't come within a thousand miles of many people, despite having played all those shows. But then there's the same problem in a huge country like Australia. Makes it all the more important to grab the chance when/if you get it, I guess, and sell a kidney to buy the ticket. (You don't need it, you've got a spare.)

Just out of interest I checked the Abu Dhabi ticket site and you can still get fire pit tickets for £510. Plus any other (cheaper) tickets in the arena. Now then, how much are the flights from London .......!!!

I trust that you have insider information that by the "60 and counting (That Keith would be able to: )" the medical science would find a way to survive with no kidney?

Well, I've finally succumbed: fire pit ticket (that was indeed the clincher for me), return flight from London, Hotel in Abu Dhabi all booked tonight ! Sometimes you've just got to do it .... you never know when it might be your last opportunity !
A couple of days in the sun as well when it's going to be freezing in England ? I can handle that !

I know of musicians who've played Abu Dhabi and not found it particularly rewarding in terms of audience response, etc. Therefore it must have been rewarding in other ways . .
Now, Barcelona would tempt me greatly. Hmmm.Quote

It's just a question of making the one you've got left last longer, that's all!
