Please DO NOT use this thread to discuss politics related to shows in certain places. Then I would have to delete the post and/or access. Thanks.

Also - what's up with the Singapore/Shanghai shows? As of this writing (Jan. 9) they still have not been confirmed.
I'm heaDEd to the Macau show (from Boston) - and had wanted to try and do Shanghai also, but as of now my plans are set...Glad I didn't wait for an annoucement. A lot of planning for a trip to China.

I am still waiting for Singapore and Shanghai announce.
My flight ticket conditions allows changing it until the end of this month.
Are there any issues to fix these 2 shows??

the promoter mentioned in the Israel news Marcel Avram is the same guy who organized the Stones show from A Bigger Bang tour in Bucharest. Maybe he'll come back with a statement

I just found out that Avram was born inj Bucharest in 1938, so maybe bringing
them to his hometown was a matter of the heart.

would be great if he could bring them to both his hometowns there is also a rumor that they might come back to Bucharest in the summer smiling smiley the Stones Bucharest show is the greatest concert to have taken place in Romania to date! that's what got me hooked on traveling the world to see them live every chance I get grinning smiley

M.Avram (Mama Concerts) and Lippmann/(Rau) were the biggest promoters in Germany in the 70'/80's.

Ronnie Wood after dinner with Sally Humphreys, before traveling to Paris, where the Stones rehearse for the tour "14 on fire"

Keeping it in the family - wearing one of Ronnie's Wild Horses scarves (and possibly a L'Wren Scott cardi as well).

Could just mean that Bernard appreciates the love or would like to go to South America himself. If they do, I will be torn with the temptation to make a trip myself that I can't possibly afford!

Yep, me too. But it would me they're getting closer...back in the Americas, yes?

Very true. If they get as far as North as Mexico, the temptation may be overwhelming!

No, I've been to Mexico twice and that's enough. But, if they could make their way up to the southern US, say Georgia or Tennessee, that would be great. Best not to think about it too much Aqua, just enjoy the fact that they are still able and willing to tour. Live in the moment..at least that's what I keep telling myself. cool smiley

True, I shall be following their adventures Down Under with great interest. But yeah, the Southern US would love to see them--I live in Louisiana, and on the last leg the closest they got to me was Chicago! Mexico is closer . . .

The way I see it, the more the Stones will tour around the globe this year to less "affluent" countries where they will have to sell tix for less money than they normally would the more likely it is that they will do a return swing through the good old U.S. of A to recoup some of those losses. thumbs up >grinning smiley<

Good things come to those who wait, or are willing to bend over again for another hit depending on how you look at it. winking smiley

So far, they have only announced places where they can keep the pornographic prices. Even the european leg will probably be restricted to a handful of countries.

Of course that doesn't mean they can't go back to the US again. But without losses along the way, I think...

There are approx 200 countries in the world, and thousands of big cities. Everybody want to see the Stones these days. USA got a fair share of shows last summer, same with London and Toronto. Now it is time for fans in Japan and Australia to get spoiled.

I am afraid time is too short and the fans are too many for the Stones to be able to visit every city on this planet. It is a sad problem. Stones fans need to travel if they really want to see their favorite band this time.

May be they come to Miami and Houston. Probably. Eventually. And Buenos Aires. And Rio. And a few more places. Eventually. But they can't be everywhere with a 14-18 shows pr leg schedule. It will take forever. Unfortunately.

This is sadly true. They can't please everyone. With the US being so vast, though, they still haven't come within a thousand miles of many people, despite having played all those shows. But then there's the same problem in a huge country like Australia. Makes it all the more important to grab the chance when/if you get it, I guess, and sell a kidney to buy the ticket. (You don't need it, you've got a spare.)

By the way, if this tour rolls on for longer time, will we get an IORR magazine sometimes in future? Would be great!!

So, I'm afraid Southern Europe could be discarded: Spain, Italy, Portugal... Otherwise, they should offer cheaper tickets than in any other country.

I trust that you have insider information that by the "60 and counting (That Keith would be able to: )" the medical science would find a way to survive with no kidney?

Just out of interest I checked the Abu Dhabi ticket site and you can still get fire pit tickets for £510. Plus any other (cheaper) tickets in the arena. Now then, how much are the flights from London .......!!!

Satisfied since 1976

Those seriously considering travelling to Abu Dhabi should also check flights to Dubai. They are much cheaper. There are busses from Dubai to Abu Dhabi.

For AbuD. still tickets available all over the place.
This is not a country with a rock history of whatsoever. Just a few rich expats who may be interested to sing along with the greatest hits.
Choice for this country has only been $ motivaed I presume

I know of musicians who've played Abu Dhabi and not found it particularly rewarding in terms of audience response, etc. Therefore it must have been rewarding in other ways . .

Now, Barcelona would tempt me greatly. Hmmm.

It's just a question of making the one you've got left last longer, that's all!

Well, I've finally succumbed: fire pit ticket (that was indeed the clincher for me), return flight from London, Hotel in Abu Dhabi all booked tonight ! Sometimes you've just got to do it .... you never know when it might be your last opportunity !
A couple of days in the sun as well when it's going to be freezing in England ? I can handle that !

Yeah but statistically the 60 and counting tour would require at least 2 kidney's, and that's only for standard tickets.
