Thanks for the clip, Cristiano. Sounds like Sir Michael is struggling a bit though...

Every rehearsal is like that. Gotta save the voice.

I haved Mixed Emotions about this version. They play it very slow which normaly is a bad thing but maybe not in this case. Songs like Brown Sugar and Jumping Jack Flash sounds awful played the slow way of 2013 but this version of She's So Cold still has a nice groove to it unlike JJF and BS. I actually prefer She's So Cold played at this speed compared to the fast and annoying Austin 2006 version.

The right tempo, and it swings! Nice weaving round 0:49!

Someone said Mick is struggling? Listen to versions from the BB-tour...

A nice touch with the phaser from Keith. Suited this song well.

A cool glimpse into a sacred place thumbs up

a short article on Le Monde
[www.lemonde.fr]

nothing really new, but a good question at the end
" A Bondy, Mick Taylor joua sur Silver Train et accompagna Richards durant Slipping Away. Signe que Taylor aura une plus grande place au sein des Stones millésimé 2014 ou cadeau exceptionnel pour les fans ?"

MT played ST and SP. Will MT play more or was it only an exceptionnal gift for the fans ?

Taylor played on SA, ST and MR.

He uses the same phaser (effect pedal) like he does on Shattered on Some Girls. Nice sound.

Thanks for the clip, Cristiano. Sounds like Sir Michael is struggling a bit though...

Every rehearsal is like that. Gotta save the voice.

I can't hear that he is saving his voice here. Actually I thought, he sings it pretty forcefully, especially towards the end and compared to other rehearsals I have seen videos of, where he almost talked his way through a song (which can have its own charm, too). I like it.

Might I be a cynic but Sir Michael's voice hasn't aged very well. I frankly find it a tad annoying. To nasal and forced. Not exactly balsam to your ears...

when I watched that rehearsal video and realized how great it sounds I just smile laugh. Thinking back at how the guitars and groove kept me hypnotized I don't even remember hearing any bass. Must of been really good. wow.

Kinda wish they wore those type of clothes on stage and not have "stage clothes" makes it more down to earth, more real if you will . . .

I can't hear that he is saving his voice here.

The high note in this tune is "volcano" and he makes sure to not give it his all to hit the note. Little flat, little lifeless. The rest, yeah, he can go full voice in rehearsal if it's in the midrange. But little stuff like full-voiced high notes can put a strain on the voice before the shows even start.

They left 20' ago. Taylor in the bus tour (not a cool guy. No smile no signature).
Ronnie was so cool and signed me Gimme some Neck and my friends guitars.
Keith as always rushing into the van.

A film to follow later.

Not a cool guy because he didn't perform like a trained pet and do these obligatory fan things? To be honest, I would hate to have my entire character judged by such superficial standards.

Never understood why people expect things from musicians other than the actual music (on record and live). If you get to meet your idol and they are happy to sign things the that's really cool. If they don't want to sign things or be in your photos then that's cool as well. Don't get upset as a fan, it's the risk you take when you try to meet your idols.

And that's why I never try. (I have met a couple, including Mick T, with both positive and negative results--positive in MT's case--but always by chance.) In my head they find me as fascinating as I do them, and that's never going to happen in real life!
