Steve Jordan sounds like he suffers from self-esteem issues. It's OK to say your work is great, Steve!

Sounds like OMS should've been Jagger/Richards/Jordan and not Jagger/Richards

GRRR! - It is credited to Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Steve Jordan

so it sounds like OMS might be on Keith's solo album? As a Richards/Jordan song then since it predates the Grrr "sessions"? Anyway it would be interesting to see what Mick added...probably not much since he still had to read the lyrics from his Mac when they rehearsed it in Bondy the day of its offiial release !

BTW that SJ interview pretty much invalidates Matthijs' assertion that OMS is a MO outtake ;-)

Yes and yes.

Now that the song is published as Jagger/Richards/Jordan, it will be listed under this signature wherever the song appears.

They are still working on it. Marlon will release it later on in life.

Christmas is six weeks away. Not a chance it'll be out by then. You'd have heard about it by now.

Keith albums tend to have a long gestation. I'd guess that it'd be closer to Easter than Christmas!

When is Easter? It's quite late in 2014 because Mardi Gras is March 4. Thankfully there's not The Troll here to tell us it's the Sunday after the last full moon of the first pre-equinox blah blah blah blah blah...

Steve Jordan gives radio.com's Brian Ives some details about the Keith project:

The Stones played two new songs during this tour, and one of them, “One More Shot,” was written by Richards for a potential solo album, according to the band’s Rolling Stone cover story earlier this year.

“We’re working on it now, it’s really pretty amazing,” Jordan says, before adjusting that statement. “It’s weird to say something you’re working on is amazing. I think he’s amazing on it, is really what I mean to say. That’s basically it.”

Jordan says that it isn’t an X-Pensive Winos album; rather it’s mainly the Richards/Jordan team.

And he verifies that there’s a Keith solo version of “One More Shot.”

“We cut it, and it’s great,” Jordan says. “Again, that sounds weird. What I mean to say is we really had a great time doing it. Keith was looking for a new song to bring in [to the Stones], so he asked me if I minded if he brought it in, and I said, ‘No.’ So he brought it in and they liked it, and they ended up recording it. We gave them our version to listen to. We have a version, it’s done. It has a different flavor, an additional vocal, Meegan [Voss, Jordan's wife] singing this counterpoint thing. It’s a little different, Keith is playing all of the guitars and the bass. That’s all I can say, I can’t say much more.”

The song served as something of an anthem for the Stones on what may well have been their last tour, but it may also double for Richards’ other band, should he decide to hit the road once again with the X-Pensive Winos.

Many thanks BBJ !!!

but we have heard about it..

reckon he wouldn't time it to conflict with a Stones tour next year..

he should just finish the damn thing and put it out, in time for his birthday!
