Could Rod, Ron, and Kenney still do a Faces album or tour? Sort of a tribute and benefit for Mac...

For sure they could.
Hire some guest musicans like Chuck for the keyboards and it might work out well.
But I don't belive that they will do.

Stewart will be sure to fan the flames next time he has a new solo album to flog!

They should add Jeff Beck to the lineup
and do a Faces / Jeff Beck Group show.

Kenney Jones on his Facebook;

Went to LA for Rod's birthday. Great night and played with my mates Rod and Woody. Only two songs but it was fun
...
Played Stay with Me
...

We also did Sweet Little Rock n Roller

Well, I think there is no chance for a reunion, because Rod isn't able to hit the high notes. And don't forget, Mac was the heart of the Faces. His playing was essential for their sound.
We got a few years ago some gigs with Mick Hucknall, which where pretty good but now? Without teh soul of the Faces, there's no chance in my opinion.

If they did it for Mac, people would approve it, imo.

Cool, sounds like they had a little mini-reunion on Rod's birthday.
Agreed, Mac was an important member of the band (as was Ronnie Lane), but it would still be worth it with a small reunion to the memory of Mac and Ronnie.

"Rod surprised his guests by starting out the entertainment with a few of his great American song book classics. Followed by the wonderful 19 piece Glen Miller band. Topping the bill, and to everyone's delight, The Faces reunited on stage in honour of Ian McLagan."

Lovely to see, but what a crying shame that the Faces reunion Mac himself was making mention of as taking place in 2015 cannot of course now take place ... or at least it could I guess, it's just that it would be missing his huge presence and contribution !! They left it too late, although no doubt his death was a shock, given that he was only 69. Too early to depart .... way too early.

Just kidding, that explains Ronnie's hair too.

In the category of too little too late Ronnie and Kenney Jones joined Rod Stewart at his 70th birthday party for only two songs. Would have been nice if he had done this proper and joined in when the rest of the band toured.

I guess they still get together for a run. Interesting that there would be the same remaining originals as the Stones - vocalist, guitarist, and drummer.

Maybe they can get Chuck to sub on keyboards.

Yes too late, but a lesson can be learned here about the importance of every day
And how life can change in a blink. So important to make the best of each day and
Seize the moment.

If I was Kenney,I would have been tempted to break Stewart's birthday cake over his head on behalf of Mac!

Rod's participation in a reunion tour seems much more likely now that the money would only have to be split three ways.
