I love the very early Stones. I find myself listening to those albums almost exclusively nowadays; (when it comes to listening to Stones). Those early arrangements are far more tricky than appears at first sight. Great guitar weaving, and more than anything it is Bill Wyman's parts, and touch in there that is fantastic. These were really just the first 3 that popped into my head. But there's so many others. I'm not referring to standout solo performances, like a great solo, but band pieces.

"King Bee", this is the tune I was just listening to. Love the bass line here ,and the way it interacts with the lead guitar.

"Diown Home Girl" this has always been one of my favorite Stones cuts. One guitar playing choppy rhythm, the other with that bubbly lead sound in between, and then the rubbery bass line literallyt weaving around it all. To top it off Charlie does some berautiful snare fills at the end of each verse.

"Off the Hook" I jst was listening to this the other day, and was struck by those odd couple bars where Keith solos right after the chorus, and before going back into the next verse. Then when the vocal comes back in, he goes into the choppy chords that give the song such a boost. Not that Brian and Bill aren't already moving it along.
