I grabbed the amazon.it deluxe sets for 19 Euros...nothing approaches that in terms of price that I've seen. That's for the 4 discs and book. I wonder what this new offer could actually be?

I also wonder whose idea it was to come up with so many disparate packages? I mean it's a live album...it's hardly going to sell any copies as it is. Even GRRR! seemed to have fewer options.

I'd order the Italian deluxe version myself (if the shipping isn't ridiculous), if I could be sure that the US version doesn't really contain a DVD of the '69 show as well.

You did better on the delivery charges than I did, I paid 14. Almost as much as the actual Deluxe set! For that reason I bought two deluxe sets as the shipping charge for both was the same.

The accountant in me amortized the shipping across two units.

Thanks for the info, Latebloomer and all--sounds to me as if the Italian package will be cheaper than the US one even with shipping. But will it contain the '69 show? Will the US version?? Why so many variations???

I'm curious about the '69 DVD (Very careless for Amazon to post the 2013 set list). I have Stones In The Park Bluray, as well as the iTunes 2013 show so I don't feel like buying something I already have. It would probably be unrealistic to expect the full '69 show. I sent a note to Amazon requesting clarification, no response thus far.

On Amazon Germany they don't list the book but by "numbers of discs" they mention 5; hope the book will be in the set, because they call it the "Deluxe Boxset" - does somebody know?

I don't, but as I also want the book I've been comparing the various descriptions, and, for example, the US Amazon says This Deluxe edition contains the 2013 Hyde Park show on DVD, Blu-ray and 2CDs inside of an 11.5' sq hardback 60 page photobook set celebrating the Stones return to Hyde Park. So possibly all the deluxe sets will be packaged this way?

The RollingStones.com News itself has linked the offer from Amazon of the respective country and the News describes the Deluxe Edition with "60 page book + DVD + Blu-ray + 2CD".

A possibility would be to wait until 8th November for a review here. If your Deluxe Box is still sealed, you can return it to Amazon for a refund.

Well, this is majorly confusing, because the US Amazon lists the DVD, blu-ray, and 2 CDs of the 2013 shows, plus The set also includes the historic 1969 Hyde Park show on a special bonus DVD. But it also says Number of discs: 4!

I haven't a clue. Has it even been established that the 69 show is being released with one of the other packages?

I've read speculation of that, but I hadn't actually seen that for myself. I understood the 5th disc on the Japan release to be "Tumbling Dice" .... I think that was the song.

I'd had a conversation with Toru about why they'd release essentially a CD single with the 4 other discs.

So if we do get 69 I'd be thrilled but I seriously doubt it. I think that would be advertised.
