he hasnt. there's not a whisper of such an interview or quote anywhere.
The guy probably thought he could make that up, safe in the knowledge that the Stones playing or not playing those places affects hardly anyone in the area he's broadcasting in.
Either that or he's taken Ronnie's recent radio quote about hoping to play other places in 2014, switched it to Mick Jagger because it sounds more impressive and twisted it into a 'confirmation'.
Gaz, long time buddy, as for the stones playing euro, i would think they will, possibly starting again in the spring in the USA, then, the usual summer tour of euro in 2014, maybe some others in asia, etc.

Talking about 50 years and counting: There is another 50 year jubilee coming up in April and May 2014; namely the release of their first album "The Rolling Stones (England's Newest Hitmakers)".
Released April 16th in England and May 30th in The US. Maybe suitable dates to start the 2014 tour?

And even more, on that very date to release an album of new studio songs! Then start a tour!

Without a new studio album it will be a real "Vegas Tour"...It is very sad after nine years from the last studio album having a new tour only with the usual warhorses. If they are still a "Current Band" as usually said Mr.Jagger, then they must prove it with a little bit of creativity, on the contrary it means that is only for the money...2002:"Forty licks" definitive Anthology with four new songs, 2012:"Grrr!" re-definitive Anthology with two(?!?) new songs...Only ten years after with only ONE studio album of new stuff...Sorry, but it is a very poor trend...

Sorry if this has already been mentioned as I can't be bothered to read all the back posts in this thread but had the chance to download the HP/Glastonbury interviews Keessie was nice enough to upload and had a listen today.
Track 8 is an interview between Keef and Ian Camfield for XFM London where Keef says that European shows have already been ckleard by everyone (the band?)for later this year ( most likely next though) and that there are details to work out and he can't confirm for sure.
Unless one of the boys go ill I am guessing Europe will get shows sooner then later.

An educated guess based on what Keef, Mick, and Ronnie have said so my statement is still valid

I'm not disagreeing with that. You're guess is as good as my guess.

Has the European tour been cleared with the Scarf? I understand that the Scarf gets final sign-off on these decisions and he is still angry about Pierre's scarf overdubbing his Scarf me up intro.

if Ronnie is correct we will be seeing the stones go on tour in Europe in the spring of 2014.
which gives us enough time to start saving for a trip to Amsterdam.
I heard they're planning to play the new Ziggo Dome for 1 or 2 nights.
And maybe even start (rehearsals) the tour in Holland with a small club gig at the Paradiso Club to get this thing ready and rolling!

You're spending far too much time with Jeroen
