I was also there last saturday... and think exactly the same! They still are very very very good!!!!!!!!!!

Actually they're so good that you wonder HOW they can even stop playing, it must be a tremendous "high" for them to play to such enthusiastic crowds even at that late stage in the game. Mick makes it looks so easy, truly mind boggling, how can the rest of what he does not seem boring to him? On the other hand everyone has to "pace" themselves I suppose ;-)

So 14 shows in Europe so far in 6 cities, that's 3 in Amsterdam, 3 in another country (Germany, France ?) and two elsewhere?

I still hope they put out a few new songs before that. Mick surely has some more stuff like D&G lurking and Keith probably has a few good ones too. A 4/5 song EP would be cool, didn't Fleetwood Mac just do that?

Well, the official Rolling Stones Facebook page just posted a photo of the boys on stage in Hyde Park from last Saturday with the caption.

"The Rolling Stones on stage at Hyde Park on Saturday, the last show of this leg of the 50 & Counting of the tour."

I'm thinking Australia in the fall? I've never been to Australia and from Tokyo, no jet lag! I'll be there.

Yup, so much negative stuff. Clearly a band that last 50 years knows what they're doing. 50 + will be seen as one of the greatest tours in rock and roll history. I had a great time and am thrilled I jumped onto this bandwagon in spring of 2012 after not seeing them for 2 decades.

50 + will be seen as one of the greatest tours in rock and roll history??? oh my God, oh My god what I'm reading....it takes courage to say certain things, and especially when I read that Ronnie is the best fantastic!! but fortunately there was Mick Taylor and a real shame that sounded only in some songs!

Way better than this absolutely horrendously stupid Macca consert going on now - that's the most ridiculous thing ever existed. Happy joyfully songs sung by that Goofy thing.

I heard about the italian show - but I didn't find some certain news about it - so it's a sort of hope and wish of the italian fans at the moment. Of course i dream of it too!

Bologna, eh? Hmmm...Attending a Stones concert at the city of Umberto Eco a Luccio Dalla would be great for me. And the flight (from Athens) is short. But, as i know, Unipol Arena has 10,000 or 11,000 capacity for basketball games, so i suppose the capacity for concerts is clearly under 10,000. And the stage the Stones are using reduces it even more. 7,000 or 6,000 only? I don't know. Here is something i cannot understand: If the Stones are booking such a small venues, how many gigs they 'll do in big countries, like Italia? If they were perforiming in bigger venues (say, larger arenas, or stadiums of 35,000 capacity or so, which is an ideal size for concerts IMO), then the band would reduce the total number of the shows. And that would involve longer breaks, deeper breaths between the shows.

Unless... Unless they are planning another one "small set" of european gigs, later. Spring or summer. We see.

the palasport Olympico of Torino would be a much better choice IMHO
Even the former DATCH in Milan

Makes sense, about 2x The Who...some €80 mystery tickets are needed to give access to more fans and to get rid of the touts.

Most likely the Sportpaleis, between 11 and 15.000 approx depending on the stage and standing vs seating on the floor

There's no announcement in that article, just rumored countries the Stones might play in October and November.
