Two great teams...you don't have to be German to enjoy that.

Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Great Match, Bayern deserved that victory!

Both teams would have deserved to win, but Bayern played an inch better. I am not a
fan of Arjen Robben's, but Robben deserves the title.

I wonder why people don't realize that there is something fundamentaly wrong with a "Champions League" where two teams from the same country meets in the final.
On the other hand it took some people 30 years to figure out that maybe some cyclists were doped in Tour de France too.

That's just the way it falls. Could easily have been two Spanish teams and in 2008 it was two English teams. In 2003 it was 2 Italian teams. It happens.

It says Champions League: It's supposed to be the league champions of every European country that battles it out. Not five teams from England, four teams from Spain, three teams from Germany and two from Italy.
One team from each country. It used to like that until Mammon came along.

But it's here to stay so we may as well enjoy the great games that it throws up.

I know Blackhat. Just follow the times; that is a wise thing to do. But what will be the next step? Only Man U and Barca in the final every year? Obligatory worship of Mammon in the school systems?

I think the plan was to expand the CL and get rid of the Europa.

Nothing wrong with being German, Havo. But it may colour your judgement here since there were two German teams in the final.

I do watch a lot of soccer in general and have been following the German competition for some years and must admit that finaly their hard work and powerfull playing has paid off in two of the best teams in the final!

Twenty- two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win.

I think German football has reached a peak this season and I believe that a new high bar has been set. I think even the Spanish teams will have to raise their game to get back in the running.

That's a myth, but for this final it was actually true! Hardly a surprise, though, with two german teams...

Usually it's 120 minutes and they win on penalties!!
