I received my refund within two days for July 6th. However as the July 6th was not a good date for me anyway I just scored for July 13th and now it's fine.

It seems we aren't out of the woods yet as I just got a revised order from Frontgate downgrading me from T1/Bar to T2/Bar (Sold Out) instead of the agreed Bar refund, i.e T1/Garden !

So the amount is correct (no mention of a refund though) but not the content, besides its "Sold Out" ! Are they counting on some people just looking at the bottom line maybe or is that another error? Anyway I emailed AEG to get this fixed now rather than wasting more time when the wrong ticket arrives!

Got my current/new invoice without bar but still T1 passes, as requested.

Good to hear that it's ok for some of you, but you'd think they'd be doing their best to not mess up a second time and would double check the revised invoices they're sending!

@chriseganstar - since you want to call them, it sounds like your downgrade didn't go to plan either?

Not exactly !!! Haven't heard from them since last week re getting my BUB refund back on the 2 Tier 1 Tickets but they (without me asking them to) downgraded the 2 Tier 2 tickets I also got to tier 3 !!!!!

And....when you call them they will not discuss the problem, saying thta you have no option but e-mail !!!!

Ouch, and had you made any special requests concerning these two T2 tickets?

In my mail on April 10 I wrote at the top, in the middle and
at the bottom "I want to keep the three Tier 1 tickets to have
access to THE GARDEN." It was bold and underlined. It helped.

That's odd, hopefully there was some confusion with the orders since you had two (me too, a simple T2) and they'll get back to us quickly. It seems the instructions given by AEG (I have several emails showing they were totally clear that I wanted a Bar refund, not a T1/Bar to T2/Bar downgrade) to Frontgate got mixed up...

I just received the below confirmation following my request made a week ago. As mentioned by someone else, do not take any chances and be crystal clear as to what you want (partial refund, downgrade to another tier etc...). At least they did exactly as I had asked. That now pays back for my flights from Dublin and a part of the hotel bill at least smiling smiley

Greg S replied:
Hello,

This has now been processed. Your new Order # is xxxxxxxx. A receipt has been sent to xxxxxxxxx reflecting that you now have Tier 1 passes without the Backstage Bar option and your order is at will call for pick up at the event. We have also refunded you the amount of £220 plus £30 for the shipping fee that you will no longer need. Please allow 3-5 business days for this refund to appear on your bank statement. Have a great day!

There must be thousands of e-mails flying around back and forth to do with this ticket fiasco.
Annoyed customers,AEG and Front Gate, trying to sort it out must be a huge unwanted headache for them that the ticket sellers bought on themselves.

A public relations disaster for them that we will all remember.

Hopefully they have learnt from their awful mistakes.

Very misleading.

My mistake.............it is a link on The Rolling Stones web site. eye rolling smiley

Yeah, it's always been there and was part of a "hospitality" package from the get-go.

I'm a bit worried, still haven't heard back from AEG following a Frontgate's erroneous processing of their intructions, have you chriseganstar ?

I hope you've heard from them by now??

I've just had a refund of £110 for my downgrade to T1 minus BUB, but it took them a while to get round to it.

I've had my downgrade to Tier 1 minus BUB, but waiting for "Greg S" to process getting my Tier 2 Tickets reinstated (because they already refunded the difference I have to re-pay by phone, but haven't been told where to phone !!!). He's not in the UK Office, spoke to them this morning so I assume he's in the US. Rang there last night too, so still waiting !

Yes a resend got their attention and they said they would be fixing that problem for me! Since the revised amount is correct it should be easier than for Chris. No refund so far though...

Yeah, it's there on the map, but I thought they'd gotten rid of it? Oh well.

I'm still on pins and needles about getting it refunded, as I'm now convinced my Tier 1 tickets are going to turn into something else. confused smiley

Success at last !!! Only as a result of me phoning "Greg S" directly in the US and talking it through, the UK call centre was absolutely useless. Anyhow, now that it's all sorted I just want to let the stress drift away and look forward to the shows (I'm off on my own to Toronto beforehand as a "taster").In over 40 years of going to gigs I've never had such a bad experience as AEG managed to conjure up. After the shows there will be letters of complaint, from me at least, and I hope everyone else who has suffered here.

Well some progress for me as I now have a T1 Pass for the 6th...but the order number has been changed so I'm not sure if they'll be refunding the T1+Bar entirely and then I'll need to buy that T1...I'll have to wait and see I suppose!
