Thanks for the topic.

When the date for pre-sales and general ticket sales is announced, I hope
someone posts it, if you get here before I do!

I have booked my room at MGM, figuring rates will go up.

Trying to get a group together for a Vegas trip. Anyone have any tips on securing a few tickets in the pit?

I wish that I could attend this show. The only casino show I've been to was at the Borgata. It was cool - ran into a few band members in the elevators!

Stay at the Tropicana right across the street for much less $$$.
Recently remodeled...it is very nice, less crowded, and probably half the price.

Quite right. Also, for those of you coming from out of town, try any of the hotels on the east side of the strip. There is a monorail that goes between the hotels. I think it's $5 to ride one way. I'm staying at Bally's for one third the price on the Grand. Plus it's centrally located on the strip. Now for the buzz kill. Prostitution is illegal in Cook County and the police take a dim view on public intoxication. I'd hate to see any of my fellow IORR's miss the concert because they spent the night in jail.

Hairball, email me so we can plan on getting together. First drinks on me! You bought the beers at Neil Young. It's my turn.

Once a time and place is finalized, I'll post on this thread so other IORR's find us.

Holy crap Scotty, you have a great memory!

This show in Vegas is a slim possibility for me, as I'll be in Hawaii until May 9th.
It would be crazy (albeit still quite possible), for me to get from L.A. to Vegas on the 10th or 11th.
I'm already missing the Staples show which is no biggie as I'm not too fond of Staples Center, so for now all my chips are on Anaheim.
I already have a reservation at the Ayres Hotel across the street from the Pond, but am waiting anxiously for any ticket info.

With all that said---Vegas is VERY tempting, and I will seriously consider it as MGM is a great venue to see the Stones!

The $85 dollar tickets the band has announced for ALL venues including Vegas will go on sale Monday.

Gotta think all seats will go on sale Monday at 10 now, but not officially announced yet.

I don't think LV is going on sale tomorrow, but you never know.

They would want to announce when to buy tix fairly soon, yes?

Not sure if the regular seats will be going on sale for Vegas tomorrow at the same time.. BUT the Vegas $85 seats will be...

They announced on twitter and then answered yes to someones question re all venues on the tour including tba's..

When they say the $85 tickets go on sale Monday 10 a.m. "local time"...what does that mean? Local to the venue? Or do they go on sale all at the same time, which is 7 a.m. Eastern?

Right, saw that last sentence but I thought they meant they will be available for all, whenever they go on sale.
I hope you are right, and not me. I think LV will be later for all seats. I will check, of course.

Hairball, hope you can make it!!!

Just checked, 8:45AM, the Rip-OffMaster website directly and thru the Citibank presale link and both still show MGM and Honda Centre as TBA. A friend has kindly offered to let me use his Citi password and card to access presale tickets for both shows. As the 12th is my birthday, I'm treating myself to a $1200 Pit ticket at MGM and two tickets to Anaheim for the both of us. He's never seen the Stones before and figures this might be his only/last chance.

It's hard to tell what's going on, yeah we don't know, MrDDD, thanks!
...also, I still don't have my ordered Citibank card for any pre-sales.

Good for you, Scotty, HB in advance! I am weighing options.

Thank you. For those that have never been to MGM, there is a hall leading up to the arena with restaurants/bars on either side. As the date gets closer I'll post suggestions on where we can meet up. As my IORR name is my email address, I was a tad drunk when I first signed up on IORR, feel free to contact me.
