I'm GA 2 Row GA7.

I don't actually believe the box office dude..
But.. hope is free and positive thinking sometimes rewarding!

I guess we will find out where we sit when we get to the show. $85 for a ticket will last longer than $85 in one of those one arm bandits in Vegas!!

Re: GA1 85$ Tickets Las Vegas

Mister DDDD-Yeah, you are right somtimes positive thinking does go a really long way. Don't want to get too focused that I will be in the first 10 rows on the floor and wind up behind a pole, in a back corner, in the uppermost rafters of the arena. Then again maybe the dude at MGM does have some inside information...Certainly hoping for the best!

My Vegas tix also GA1, but have no expectations whatsoever of where they will be...all that matters is I'm in.

For the record, my Anaheim tix for the 15th and 18th both say VOUCH.
Wondering what the hidden meaning is with that... drinking smiley

------------------------------------------------------------
edit: And just checked my Staples tix...they say GA PIT 5.

Hey mine also say vouched that the seats are like for the ticket numbers are 180 and 181. There are no seat rows labeled 180 or. 181. !! Maybe going to be entering into the pit or something like that.with a number like 180 or 181 .

Can't possibly have any sort of seat designator attached to it , think about it !

might be a good thing we're looking at here!!!

In my post above, I was just looking at my email receipts for the Anaheim tix that only says VOUCH.

When I clicked on "order detail" on ticketmaster for Anaheim the 18th, it says:
Section - VOUCH
Row - GA0
and then some seat numbers...

GA0? If vintage stone says in his post that GA1 Would be front of the stage, would GA0 be backstage? grinning smiley
The mystery continues...

If it's like shows I've been to before with this kind of system, the numbers etc. on these $85 tickets don't mean anything, the tickets just generate something there at random to fill the "field." (There are no row/seat numbers for standing areas, for instance.) In this case, you find out when you get there what spot you've got.

If you buy tickets for an all-GA show (by another band), you'll usually see numbers on them, but they don't mean anything.

I agree, but it's kind of fun speculating and coming up with various theories regarding seat location, etc. lol.

My only question (and several others have asked) is if the seats are already designated, or on a first come/first served basis?
We'll know how this all works out next week.

My mantra during this entire saga has been to just be "happy I'm in the house...whether it's a nosebleed, the pit, or somewhere in between".
At the same time, it's intriguing how this mysterious process will play out, so I don't know why you would want to stifle this discussion on a Rolling Stones message board.

If I wanted a guaranteed pit seat, I definitely wouldn't pay anywhere near $1500.
I've been front/center many times (stadiums, arena's, and clubs) at a fraction of the price.

When you walk up to the table to get your tickets, all they do is check your name off a list and hand you an envelope from a stack. Your name isn't even on it. There is no way the "GA1" or whatever you're seeing online has anything to do with what is in the envelope.

Does anyone know what time will call (for the $85 tickets) will be open? This may impact the time we should gather at the Rouge.

And is the Rouge in the MGM Grand Hotel or what is the location?

The Rouge bar is inside the MGM Grand and from what I can tell, it is on the casino floor.

If you can't find it walking through the casino, just ask a cocktail waitress.

I have not determined how we will recongize each other there..I guess those in the Rouge with Stones t-shirts would be us. See ya'll there right after the gig

Can't get through to the box office, I talked to a consigiere (spelling?) who said that she handles things regarding the Arena and that the will call (or box office?) opens at 10 am.

She knew nothing about $85 tickets. There has got to be a way to get through to the box office itself. She obviously doesn't know anything.

Finally got thru to the Arena box office itself and the guy said that they had not been told when the $85 tickets would be available and to call back the morning of the show, but he said it would likely be about 6 pm and that the arena doors will open at 6:30.

If this is the case, maybe we should get together at the Rouge at 4 or so, rather than 5:30. What do you think?

Also, it should be noted that the Rouge is strictly a lounge, not a restaurant. Here is a link for info on the Rouge [www.mgmgrand.com].

Sorry, same link already posted above.

I will stop by The Rouge to say hello to my IORR friends on the way to Zuri's ~ also in the MGM ~ where the Shidoobee's are gathering before the show. I like seeing all the Stones people from both boards. Good, fun Stones-loving people!

Is anyone else there yet? cool smiley
