I feel your pain!
It's amazing we can buy tickets (with a citi card) for every show on the tour except for Vegas which is the 4th damn show of the tour!
I bet the hold up is MGM trying to maximize profits by backdoor preselling to corporations and it's shareholders.
I know that happens here in Atlantic City for our big casino shows. By the time tickets go onsale to the public there are only about 30 to 40% of the seats left!
I bet when they do finally go onsale the seat selection will be crap.

yeah...Im sure it is due to MGM taking thier share of tix to give out to high rollers...let's just hope there are still some good seats available when they do come out

MGM is such a "small" venue, it isn't a great place to see a group such as the Stones. I mean the sound hardley has time to get loud enough after leaving the speakers, before being absorbed by eardurms. I don't think anyone in their right mind would want to go to this show. And people walking down the strip with a drink in hand might get beer spilt on you outside the show.

(will posting this increase my chances for getting a ticket to this crappy show????)

MGM holds close to 14K people, depending on seating set up. Honda Centre is about 18K. I really enjoy the Grand for reasons I've posted earlier. It still beats stadiums by a long shot.

Absolutley NOT!
Now, I advise you to take the concert/venue off your list for consideration.
I hear Oakland is nice this time of year. Yeah. That's it.. you should try Oakland.
That's the ticket... for you.spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

The MGM Grand is a great place to see the Stones. One of the few venues around that is built mainly for music, not for ice hockey, basket, hot dogs and all those catering areas, but music. And of course some boxing games, but the acoustics are great, and the crowd is dressed up. Like Mick said at one of the shows:

"You are the best dressed crowd ever"

That was the one and only show I have ever been wearing suit and tie...

This morning Las Vegas was not on the Ticketmastersite. Still no sign of Presale or sale on the rs.com site.

Hopefully they will sell within the next days.

The show is still up on the AEG & MGM websites. Good to be back on this site! Been awhile. I went ahead & booked air/hotel for that weekend. I'm from Seattle & as everyone knows we got burned. I've seen the Stones 3 times @ MGM & it is an excellent venue. I'm going down there by myself, so I figure I'll come up with a ticket by hook or by crook. Saw Elton John is playing that weekend too. That was the 1st concert I ever went to in 1976. Things changed soon after that! 1st Stones show was in Boulder 1978 (with Peter Tosh opening!). A life changing show to say the least. I actually conned my parents into letting me drive to Boulder from Seattle for the show at age 17. I still don't know how I pulled that one off. Looking like a full circle weekend. I'm psyched! Hopefully will get together with some IORR folks in Vegas.cool smiley

no $85 tix yet for citi presale. I keeping getting avail options come up but all so far are $780 for just ok seats!? no way!

Trying to get the $125 ones but no luck so far!

Re: Las Vegas May 2013 show planning

seems you only need citi card for regular prices tix. presale appears open to anyone willing to pay for the super expensive packages...so if you want floor seats and can/want to pay $1300 EACH, log on now and they can be yours! You get be in the tounge pit for only $200 more. ugh.

of course no tix at all at the lowest cost of $165...i guess i will hope to get in on $85 tix if/when the come on sale

Anyone score any of the citi pass "cheap" seats??

I snagged two of the $250ish seats, tried forever to get the less expensive ones
before giving up...

Thrilled to have the whole trip, including tix purchased, but am still going o try for the $85 seats on Friday..

Re: Las Vegas May 2013 show planning

I tried, literally, for 90min over and over selecting the "cheap" tickets ($165) and got nothing. Tried 2, 1, 4, 6, nothing. And I was on it right at 10am sharp.

All you can get is $260 seats and up. I don't believe they released ANY $160 seats for citi presale.

I almost pulled the trigger on the $260 seats but I could not justify the cost for the crappy seats you get at that price. Just hoping for something better at $85
