But the organisation give almost 3 hours to Bon Jovi on friday.... ít´s a festival too..... strange!! no???

I still hope we get a normal show...

Yep, so one has to conclude that the Stones are happy with their 90 minute spot. Why wouldn't they...they probably only got AEG to cough up the $80 million by agreeing to play these two shows on top of the 18 in the US for which they wanted $80 million. It's the first year AEG are organizing BST so they probably wanted to start with a "bang". The Stones are probably viewing these shows as "free" concerts (i.e. they're not getting paid) and it's not like Glastonbury with its "aura".

As Gazza often writes, the buck stops with Mick and Keith, and it's certainly the same here. Hopefully they'll change their mind...

Yes, that's right on the money.

They'd better damn well start on time. Why the hell can't they start at 8.00pm when they know there is a strict 10.30 curfew (which definitely will be imposed, have no doubts about that, it only takes 1 local resident to pick up the phone after that time to stop the show and I doubt the Stones will risk running past it anyway).

... Yes, and not to forget the 1st O2 show last November, where the Stones had to stop the show without the very last song "Satisfation" (but written on the setlist), only not to get over the known time limit ...
Andreas

If it's only "Satisfaction", I'm okay with it. This is one of their bad songs

So what. It'd be great to hear as many songs that were played at Hyde Park in 69. Including Satisfaction.

So it'll be a complete warhorses setlist with one 'obscure' (probably CYHMK or ER) to 'please' us die hards.

To be honest, I really don't know what to expect anymore.

What's up with the different opening times as well? Is it 12:00? 14:00?

Mick hints rolling stones will recycle the same setlist as 1969.

That's sounds like a really bad idea.

Ofcourse he is. This can't happen with the songvote.

But I can imagine that they are going to play some interesting old stuff from that 1969 gig. Maybe the first blues song or Have Mercy or Stray Cat Blues. Who knows? Nobody expected 2000 LYFH for last Saturday!

I did, seeing as they had soundchecked it in Philly and Washington!

How long was their set in 69...

"Recycle" means probably play old stuff from this concert but not only. A 2 hours show (or 1h45) including this setlist would be very original, I love this idea...

A 132-foot launch out into the audience???

Thanks to Johnny Bye Bye for the link to Ronnie's interview where he mentions it:

The app is updated to 20.30 for 6th and 20.45 for the 13th. A mistake probably.

So sounds pretty official. We get 2h hours of the Stones - I would be confident with that. But this only works if they are on stage in time and play until 22.30. Fingers crossed!

Foot launch sound really good!

Ronnie said it was a launch 132-foot in length, but I'm not sure what a launch might mean exactly.

A cat walk or walkway that extends from the stage into the crowd.

OK, so I'm just outside London, just getting over jet lag, what's the latest bad news? Seems the band are going to be launched into the audience?

Have people started getting their tickets/gummy bands?

Flying & Paying tons of miles/pounds to see the Stones with me 2 boys I surely do not like all this uncertainty and contradicting information and what looks like a dangerously short setlist. HOWEVER some comfort is found in quite a few hilarious posts up here... I actually laughed so hard that my 2 month healed wound left after the kidney selling I did for finance my 90 minute Stones excursion, started hurting again...
