so maybe a catwalk between the Tier1/2 section and the Tier3? hence the change in layout?

That's how I'd see it as well, especially as the tiers on the most recent map are slightly off centre.

Thanks for posting the new maps, y'all, very helpful. Guess I needn't have changed my hotel from the north side of the park!

Perhaps the strangest thing I've read all week.

Yep - the BST app says one thing, the map on the BST site says something else;
Frontgate chimes in with an email agreeing with one of the above,
and Barclaycard Unwind isn't talking. Lost, probably ...

Trying to attend this event feels more like work than work does. Shame on all the "organizers".

so we can use gate 8? Previous maps it states Media only,

The only thing I'm pretty upset about is seeing the Stones for 1hour 45 mins.

So we're back to the original map...without the position of the Tiers though...

One interesting piece of information (confirms what I thought), Tier 1 and Tier 2 ticket holders will also (on top of Unwind Toilet Bar) get a wristband, the only way to allow easy entry to the reserved areas.

Oh and no food or drinks...except "water in plastic sealed containers or juice in cartons up to 500ml" so I'll probably take my 2 liter camelback!

They say there will be cash machines that work with "all major UK debit cards"...does that include Visa/Mastercard cards?

Visa and Mastercards will be fine. ATMS at festivals will charge you for accessing your money

Does anyone know if GA tier 3 will be issued wristbands?

No, see above, and what would they be needed for? ;-)

Banning people from bringing in food & drink is very petty. Didn't happen last year.
Clearly the intention is to force everyone to buy from onsite sellers. This attitude always makes me determined not to! I feel it's an infringement on my civil liberties! angry smiley

OK, so I'm just outside London, just getting over jet lag, what's the latest bad news? Seems the band are going to be launched into the audience?

I'm kinda hoping it might be the organisers doing that. On the end of a very large catapult.

But the organisation give almost 3 hours to Bon Jovi on friday.... ít´s a festival too..... strange!! no???

I still hope we get a normal show...

they didnt.

The length of show the band plays is up to the artist themselves.

theres also only about three acts on that bill.

Hello everyone! I've read and enjoyed this forum a lot over the past year or so but rarely post. Does anyone know if there'll be a gold circle at the front for Tier 3 tickets?

Wondering whether it's worth heading there for the gates opening to get a wristband. Want a good spot and would go early if there is a gold circle, but if not I'd watch the Lions match before heading to Hyde Park.

Can't wait for Saturday, 10 years since I saw the Stones and my girlfriend's never seen them before.

Latest from the shambles at BST - looks like the entrance and position for Tier 1 and Tier 2 has changed...

on this map it does not look like a great view for T2 (and most of T1)

Re: Hyde park Layout changed!!!

This in incredible. How can they change it totally a couple of days before the concert?

Altamont was organised and planned with an efficiency and foresight on a par with the D-Day landings at Normandy compared to this festival.

I would have more confidence in someone in a coma being in charge of all of this than AEG/BST.

They will as usual accept mobile phones and compact cameras I guess,
they are not happy with large cameras with changeable lenses, like Canon EOS cameras.
But I am not sure..maybe they would let you go if it was one of the more modest EOS systems without any large zoomlens, anyway.. I wouldn´t gamble with an EOS camera eye popping smiley

Not sure about the acceptet payment methods in the Merch stands..
Perhaps only cash.. but they have ATMs/cash machines on the site!

It looks OK to me provided that it is not rammed full. There is supposed to be space for people to sit and chill out all day.
