Last week in London, when I was at work, the temperature was in the mid-30s, the sun shone, the office sweltered.

This week I'm on holiday in Wild Welsh Wales - the temperature is about 16 and it's pouring with rain - which is why I'm here posting and not out walking the coast path like I was yesterday.

It wasn't the best weather to be working at in London last week! I'm lucky that I at least work from home so was spared an unbearably overheated tube or bus!

Are you in Pembrokeshire? Absolutely love it there - so beautiful! Haven't been for too long - used to go regularly when I was younger as we have relatives in Swansea and Cardiff and would head on to Pembrokeshire afterwards. I remember the rainy days - but somehow I still love it there even in the rain.

Hope you enjoy your holiday - despite the rain. smiling smiley

Pembrokeshire it is. Still raining by the way.

If it still raining by the way I would say keep away from the way...............

It was about 35C in Prague on Tuesday, and that's when I chose to do a walking tour of the city, fortunately it cooled down the last couple of days.

When I was in London 2 weeks ago, it was about 23C most days and there were heat warnings at the tube stations. Couldn't figure that one out....

....but who am I to talk, especially after spending 20 quid for a hamburger at Harrods grinning smiley

Earlier on the full supermoon was beautiful - and then I fell asleep (it's 4am here) and now the eclipsed moon is a sort of dark dirty orange. Should be interesting when it starts to come out of the shadow.

It just rose here. Very spooky. A dim red-orange orb hanging in the sky.

Eclipse of the 'Super Moon' happening on the west coast.

Weatherwise, another heatwave in Southern California...80f.+ in the day on the coast.
Might be the same heatwave as the last as it's never really let up.
We're having an endless summer....

Finally - two or three days of rain and lower temps. forecast in Southern California after weeks (months?) of dry/hot weather.
We did have a day of rain a month or so ago, but because of the heat I think it evaporated before it hit the ground.
But this new batch of rain is not to last very last long, as more record breaking heat forecast by the end of the week. eye rolling smiley

We don't see to much of these storms here in Northern Sweden but autumn is settling here now, finally. With shorther days and lower temperatures. Quite a beautiful season with all the colors from red to yellow and green.

You must live near me, GasLightStreet. grinning smiley In fact, the ground around here was so rocksolid because of the drought that we're now in danger of flooding.

SE LA. I've not been to the lakefront but from what I understand it's been under water.

Nice ton of rain from Patricia.

Another scorcher today in So.Cal with BIG waves being generated from Hurricane Patricia - surf's up! thumbs up
A couple of cooler days forecast midweek, then the excessive heat returns.
Hot temps, warm ocean, big waves...experts are saying it's because of El Niño, and are predicting it will be as big as the one we had here in '97/'98.
They've christened the El Niño "Godzilla" because of it's enormity which will bring massive storms and large amounts of rain.
Lord knows we need loads of water here in drought-stricken California, but along with it comes floods, landslides, coastal erosion etc.

In the meantime, it's an endless summer....
