Im not feeling it.

i said i expected a shock announcement to boost the PPV

i was guessing maybe pink or rihanna because their fan bases are so enthusiastic
and would really boost the PPV gross.

but gaga's are even more so. every single one them robotic fans of hers will
purchase it now. brilliant way by the Stones to make big big money.

and it saves me 30 bucks. because like so many rihanna fans, i boycott all things gaga.

for me this is the equivalent of bringing in Sgt Barry Sadler to guest
on Street Fighting Man.

i seriously have very broad tastes. i seriously hate very very few artists.

i like justin timberlake, i like christina aquilera, i like dave matthews,
i like jack white, i like bruce springsteen and the black keys

but bingo! my sore spot! gaga! well played jagger!

I'm out!

(i'm also guessing that gaga's fans will snap up the remaining tickets for
the 15th, and drive up the secondary market)

I am not surprised by Lady Gaga. Keith pretty much hinted at working with her in the recent "new music" interview on the app.

Black Keys, good for them. I'm sure they will have a great time.

But...
Springsteen?

I am bothered by this choice. Sure, it's New Jersey and all, but we're talking a worldwide PPV here. They better come up with a legitimate reason to trot him out there. And it better not be 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town.'

Of all the possible choices, Springsteen would be at the absolute bottom of my list. I just don't think they jell together at all. Who knows, I've been surprised by this band many times before...

All I can say is this:
This BETTER NOT be the LAST Rolling Stones concert.

It's only 5 minutes out of 2 hrs 30 minutes - let the kids have their fun!

Bruce and the Black Keys are excellent guests, though
