And this one came in todays deliveries !

I love mislabeled items !!

Beauty!

Do you have the Miss You/Too Tough promo 45? I tried getting that a few years ago on Ebay but it got away.

No , I have not .

The only " oddity " I have as far as Miss You 45 is a Canadian Issue Gold Standard that has beast of burden on the " B side " .

It's a reissue

I do believe I have that one as well.

The Too Tough/Miss You, the 'Stoned/I Wanna Be Your Man' US promo and the Dandelion/We Love You single with picture sleeve are really the ones I'd like to still get to round out my collection of 45s

Do you have the Let's Spend The Night Together single that was released with the movie in '82 ...I think that was European only?

yeah, Dandelion/WLY is a big gap in my 60s stuff...no one expects you're going to have SFM mind you.

Here is that LSTNT from '82.... flip side is Start Me Up:

I note that the STRIPPED sealed vinyl sold last week on EBAY for $118:

For some reason Voodoo Lounge, Bridges & Stripped seem to sell for a bit of a king's ransom. The album before VL, Steel Wheels, you can pick up for a song in sealed condition.

I guess it has to do with scarcity, or maybe that they started releasing everything as double albums on heavy weight vinyl.

I don't think that those LPs were produced in a very high number .
They are few and far between on ebay .

And here's one more that is not seen too often, because it was a give-away with a GREAT German Box Set some 30 years ago. Yes, 30 years ago! Wow!

OK stonesstein...we need a story behind this release please!

It looks as though it's a bootleg, but on Dot records? I don't get it, I think they're legit...I have something on Dot, I'm sure of it.

What gives?

THE person who can talk more about this than can I is Tim Catinet. Tim told me that this IS a pirate release of East Asian origin, though I have no clue as to the time period or if there are more. I do know that I sent a copy of the pix to someone who is the historian for the successor to that which used to be DOT records, and he verified that this is not an authentic DOT release.

Beyond that, all I can say is that I have been offered untold treasures in trade and in $$ for this, but since I have never seen another one, I have been reluctant to let it go.

Boston, I think I may have asked you this before, but how do you keep track of your vinyl? Do you have them catalogued some way?

I ended up creating a table in word and logging everything that way, including gradings of each piece.

I find it's the only way to know what I have...I've bought duplicates several times because I'd forgotten I already had it!

OK, American Forces pressing...never seen it before, very cool. I presume it's legit.

Story Stonestein...very cool item, we want the goods. Where'd you get it, if I may be so gauche as to ask how much you paid, and do you have any more photos?

Thanks for sharing BTW!

I've got them in custom built shelves made by a late friend of mine for me .

They are all in alphabetical order .

Holy moly Boston! Smashing!

What I'd like to know, is what are ticket prices, what are your hours, and are you open on Sundays?

Are the tours guided?

What is the Canadian Flag in there...is that some sort of tongue/flag?

Thanks !! smileys with beer

Tours are free for women .

Men must bring a beer or two .

Sundays are open during hours that the Patriots are not playing .

The tours are guided , some people have " Sticky Fingers "

The Canadian Flag is a tour program , Steel Wheels 1989 .

That is pure dedication. I don't have half that volume I'm afraid. While I do have some clothing and posters (all rolled up) most of my stuff is vinyl, 12" and 45s and CDs. I've gotten quite particular about collected sealed stuff too...have a lot of that both new and old.

Beautiful room though...if I open up the basement, I think I'll create my own Voodoo Lounge!

AFRTS, were these issued on American bases, on foreign soil?

Here is what little I know about the Armed Forces Exile - I bought it on eBay around 4-5 years ago for less than $50.00 (I seem to recall), and I have never seen another or known anyone else who has one. I am sure these are out there, and I suspect that there are probably less than 20 left of probably 1,500 or so made. I am not aware of other LPs in this format. It is a very UNUSUAL almost novelty pressing, but the intersting thing is that it is a single LP and the track choice necessitates a different song order.

I do not know who would know more about this one.

Stay tuned - more to come.
