Thanks Andreas, looks like it's in great condition as well. I'm surprised you have the vinyl still sitting inside the PS!

From your photo, looks like the texture is similar to the Miss You paper.

How long ago did you get this and if you don't mind my asking, from where?

It's in vg condition, yes, similar to "Miss You", more likely to the "Shattered/Everything is turning to gold" single sleeve. These are photos from the day I got it, which was in 2007 I think. Got it directly from a serious UK collector who sold also some other nice records to me; he had it in his possession since the 80's. As said, I will only buy such rare records, especially when sleeve is rarest, face to face, or from a fellow collector I know since years, where a few are or have been in this forum :-)

If it is only in VG condition, I'd be happy to do a straight trade with my new one, which I assure you is unplayed and in NM condition! winking smiley

Congratulations on acquiring it! When my kids grow a little older, I may be able to justify getting it myself. Until then, I'll admire my cardboard version!

My copy of the 12 X 5 EP on London SBG 23, 1964. The songs are: "Around And Around, 2120 South Michigan Avenue, Confessin' The Blues, Time Is On My Side, Grown Up Wrong, and It's All Over Now".

As soon as I can figure it out I will post pictures from my last message. But in the mean time...12" single of Sympathy for the Devil backed by You Can't Always Get What You Want.Come with the standard Stones label. Both are commercial studio versions. I know this is a counterfeit but I only saw it listed on Ebay once and bought it. Any comments.

I haven't heard of this...you say it is a 'standard stones label', do you mean the DECCA or London labels, or the yellow tongue label? How do you know it's counterfeit.

Love to see the photos.

Thanks Luca, didn't quite work embedding. It's a bit counterintuitive. You need to click and copy the link that says [ IMG ] if memory serves correctly, and not the actual 'link' as you've done. By using the [ IMG ] instead of the url page link, you'll be able to imbed the photo in your post.

Hope that helps!

How rare is this vinyl release?

HYSYM Live is a nice little album.
The stereo version is kind of hard to get by, but not immensely, it catches a few hundered when on EBAY. See recent prices on Popsike. If you had the mono version, however, I think most of us in this thread would have stood up and applauded...

You seem to thave a great looking stereo copy! Treat it well and cherish it like it was your son. (But don´t throw it in the air and tickle it)

Yeah, I don't recall any official releases of SFTD b/w HTW on the Stones tongue label....that could well be counterfeit. Anyone else know? Can you scan and upload?

Thanks.

I have already transferred it to my phone, so the vinyl will rest on the shelf winking smiley

Maybe not rare...but certainly, 'precious':

Precious Stones, Japanese version of a 'talking album', interviews from 1965, with all the Stones, including Brian, and Eric Easton. Pristine condition. Must be a reprint. I've seen what I believe is the original sell for around $100-200, but a totally different cover. Not sure what the naked chick has to do with the album, but whatever:

This is the back cover

and one side of the vinyl sorry for the blur:

Remember about a week ago someome adverstised a phony Sticky Fingers " gatefold " LP ?

Here's another one for you . Notice it is advertised as a " foldout " which they said it is sometimes called rather than " gatefold "

[:RTQ:US:1123" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">cgi.ebay.com]

I asked the seller to send some scans or photos of the cover in more detail , no reply ............ Buyer Beware !!

Me too! Great combo...is that from '73? I'm just pretty sure they never released this on RSR.
