Re: Mick Jagger's "Supergroup"?
Date: June 10, 2011 23:10
This is revvy. I am one of five surviving members of SUPERREVVY
a.k.a. the rev-revvies. The others, here with me now and throughout
this travail, are superrevvy, Rev-I, twenny revlights, and R'Twen. Along
with our close advisor and colleague Rev 20:2. We have all contributed
mightily in the writing and editing of this message. And we are still far
from happy with it. We wish we could re-write it a thousand times, instead
of once, but deadlines are deadlines. Forgive us its failings. Its the best
we could do in the time alloted, with the energy at our disposal.
Our two fallen brothers, founders in fact of SUPERREVVY a.k.a. the
rev-revvies, are the late great Rev Twenty Redlights and Rev20, both
giants, and all that we do as a group is forevermore in remembrance of
their pioneering efforts.
We can never forget and shall never forget that they were bashed
to death. That fact haunts us, and should haunt you. Every kind
of bashing must stop right now, and forevermore. Except the
bashing of bashers.
Let me ask you something. When you read about a literally insane
mob somewhere stoning some young girl to death because she
tried to escape an arranged marriage or she participated in a beauty
contest or she kissed a girl, how does that make you feel?
Well, that is exactly how we feel about the loss of RTR and Rev20.
But this message is not about RTR and Rev20. Because they were
not really real. At least in your eyes.
This message is about somebody else who got bashed. So
severely that it caused the death of the Rolling Stones. And that
somebody is absolutely really real, and you either performed the bashing
or you did nothing to stop it when you could have and should have.
Before Rev Twenty Redlights passed on, he instructed us in this
manner: "Be careful what you say, because it is my fault too."
What RTR meant is that he that he never really forgave himself
for not rising sooner to L'Wren Scott's defense.
But Lord! When he did finally rise it was a sight to behold. Rev20
clapped and clapped and clapped and clapped so that Tinkerbell would
not die. Rev20 messaged his little heart out. Post after post after post
on Shidoobee about what a fine woman Mick had finally hooked up with.
Rev20 changed his Shidoobee avatar to L'Wren. He changed his
Shidoobee identity to R'Twen. He designed and submitted a new
bumper sticker and banner for Shidoobee that was all-L'Wren. He posted
pictures galore of gorgeous L'Wren and gorgeous L'Wren fashion and
proof about how wonderful she is, both in and of herself, but also for
being there for Mick when he needed somebody, which is all of the
time, just like you and me.
Wake up and think. For the first time in Mick Jagger's rich and famous
and sexy and brilliant and multi-talented life, Mick Jagger found someone
that he loved that loved him back. Not just his refined power and the
perks of his position. But Mick himself. His heart and his spirit. So he
didn't have to run around town anymore to keep himself whole. And he
wasn't subjected anymore to the kind of incessant personal drama
that had sapped his precious creative energies for all his adult life.
Nobody can help who they are attracted to. That is an animal thing. It can
only be changed sometimes a bit with great effort over time. Mick can no
more help being attracted to super strong and super brilliant women than
this man over here can help being attracted to dumb blondes or that
person over there can help being attracted to those that are muscular
and of the same sex. Until Mick met L'Wren he basically assumed that all
super strong and super brilliant women were bitches, and so if that was
his lot, he would make the best of it. Which he did.
We apologize. We are saying too much. We wish we knew how to say it
more simply. All we know for sure is that L'Wren did have a huge flaw
that caused her and Mick to keep their relationship secret for a few
years. And that flaw is that it really hurt her to be called names. It
really hurt her to be bashed. And so she worked and worked to get
strong enough to face her worst fears about how Stones fans would
react to her. And while most of our worst fears are exagerated, hers were
not. It was a terrible awful and disgusting thing to read what Stones fans
wrote about this wonderful woman. For L'Wren it was like being riddled
with bullets.
The internet is not like your home. It is like TV. You are broadcasting.
You all put Mick in a position where he had to choose. He had to either
fall out of love with you or fall out of love with L'Wren. So Mick Jagger fell
out of love with you for the first time in his life. Not that he wasn't severely
pissed off at you on many occassions for how badly you were bashing
him, but as we all know he is one amazingly tough bugger, and just
soldiered on. And that's the right word for it, soldiering.
We know we all have to soldier on in various aspects of our life. But one
place we really shouldn't have to do too much soldiering is in our love
relationships. But Mick was not so lucky. In all his love relationships,
before he met L'Wren, there was always an inordinate amount of
soldiering to be done, including sadly in his love relationship with you
and, it must be said, his love relationship with Keith.
We'll return to the subject of Keith, but we need to keep the spotlight on
you at the moment.
So when you not just hurt Mick's heart, like you'd done so many times
before, but actually broke his heart by the way you treated L'Wren,
our fate was sealed. Yes, we said that right. You broke his heart. You
broke the heart of stone. Congratulations. Well done, my friends.
So everything Rev Twenty Redlights was trying to do was futile. By the
time he started his show-L'Wren-the-love campaign, it was already too
late.
When we have our hearts broken, we always want to find a new and
better love, but there is nothing guaranteed about that, especially as
we get older. Mick feels himself extraordinarily lucky to have found
L'Wren in his late 50s. And that is EXACTLY how he feels about having
found his SUPERHEAVY partners and their fans in his late 60s.
He's very very turned-on by the music he's making with SUPERHEAVY.
He's in love with SUPERHEAVY. He's not any longer in love with the
Rolling Stones, although he obviously will always have a great affection
for them. He's in love with SUPERHEAVY. He's in love with them just
like he's in love with L'Wren.
How's that huh?
Now, about Keith, know this please. Never once ever did Keith Richards,
even at his angriest and most fcuked-up and most drunk, yes I, even on
Keiths worst day in his whole life, never once did Sir Keith Richards ever
say, or even hint at, anything the slightest bit derogatory against Mick's
girlfriend L'Wren Scott.
And Keith would have sliced the throat of anybody who did.
How's that huh? Seen?
